It’s official ladies and gentlemen, the festive period has ended far too soon and those pesky January blues have firmly set in. Whilst most of us will be mourning the loss of daytime TV and Quality Street binges for another year, the celebs of La La Land are embarking on their own post-Christmas hiatus to sunnier horizons. Prepare for some serious vacay inspiration as we look back on some of the most insane holidays ever, cause they’re celebrities who want to get out of here.
1. Taylor Swift’s 4th July Party
I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling seriously blue after seeing some of the holidays that Taylor’s enjoyed in the past. But perhaps the most envy inducing was when she invited her squad over for a mini vacation to her Rhode Island home to celebrate the 4th July last year. T Swizzle and her too cool for school girl gang know how to have a blast without travelling too far, and although it might not technically be a holiday, it deserves its place on this list.
2. Victoria’s Secret Angels Bahamas Trip
As if us mere mortals weren’t already in awe of the VS Angels, the girls sent out some genuine wanderlust vibes after they jetted to the Bahamas following their annual catwalk show in Paris. Showcasing the ultimate beach babe style, the girls looked incredible and sent me into a serious day dream of sunnier skies.
3. Beyoncé’s Paris City Break
Although Queen B was already in the city as part of her Formation tour, she took some down time to enjoy the beautiful sights with Jay Z and their daughter/future ruler Blue Ivy. Taking the ultimate city break, the Eiffel tower proved to be an amazing backdrop for Beyoncé and Blue Ivy’s matching mini me outfits. Can I have one in my size please?
4. Lucy Watson’s Bali Getaway
As if living in a SW3 postcode area isn’t stressful enough for these guys, it’s become tradition for the MIC crew to annually escape London to tropical paradises. From Barbados to Sri Lanka, there aren’t many places that haven’t been graced by the presence of this lot. However, my favourite has to be Lucy Watson’s romantic getaway to Bali last May. Bali has always been at the top of my travel destination list, but until I find the necessary $$$ or win the lottery, I’m happy to live my dream holiday through her Instagram feed.
