If there ever was a time to stuff your face with tonnes of mince pies, it’s now.If you’re a fan of these little pieces of pastry heaven, you need to head to Dirty Bones. They have created a new cocktail called the Mince Pie Bramble; it’s made with gin, lemon, and a brandy and port-infused mince pie reduction. With sites in Kensington, Soho and Shoreditch, you have plenty of places to get your liquid mince pie fix this month.

Black Forest – Dalloway Terrace

Dalloway Terrace have blown us away with their magical winter pop-up. If you haven’t paid it a visit yet, get your camera ready – it’s decked out with glittering fairy lights and snow-frosted foliage. They’ve also collaborated with master chocolatier Maison Pierre Marcolini to create a bespoke list of hot chocolate cocktails for you to enjoy in their enchanting space. There are four options to choose from, but we’re head over heels in love with the Black Forest. It contains Ron de Jeremy Spiced Rum, LBV Port and Pierre Marcolini Hot Chocolate.

Christmas Cheer – Dirty Martini

Dirty Martini are known for their seasonal cocktail offering, and like every other Christmas they’ve pulled it out of the stocking bag. Alongside their regular mixes, you’ll find five additional tipples; be warned, each one is just as indulgent as the last. Make sure to pay their Christmas Cheer some attention though. It’s made with pomegranate juice, orange bitters and raspberry syrup with Bols Genever, Luxardo Maraschino, Tanqueray Gin and Cherry Heering Liqueur. It’s sweet and super moreish.

Scarlett Sparkle – NY-LON

Ny-Lon is inspired by two of the world’s greatest cities – New York and London – and is only a stone’s throw from The 02 Main Arena. If you’re around the area, pop into their glamorous lounge and lock lips with the Scarlet Sparkle. It’s made with Briottet Cranberry Liqueur, Pierre Ferrand Dry Orange Curacao and is finished with a generous splash of prosecco. It’s seriously festive and full of flavour.

Kraken’ Me Up – Bird of Smithfield

The mixologists at the Bird of Smithfield have worked their magic behind the bar to create three beautiful Christmas cocktails. But take our advice and start off with Kraken’ Me Up. Kraken Rum, known for its natural caramel notes, is the base of this festive drink which is then shaken with Amaretto and chestnut liqueur. Essentially, it’s a big hug in a glass.

A Christmas Caramel – Bounce

It doesn’t matter if you go to Bounce in Holborn or in Shoreditch, you just need to promise us one thing, okay? Promise that you’ll put down your bat long enough to order the Christmas Caramel. This festive drink contains Buffalo Trace bourbon, caramel syrup, Pimento Dram, Frangelico, lime juice and a touch of salt. It’s guaranteed to leave you feeling merry.

If you fit into the ‘grinch’ category and despise everything Christmas, grab your coat and make a dart for London Cocktail Club. They have the perfect cocktail for you. No seriously, they do. Scrooged is a heady and potent mix of Jagermeister Spiced, QuiQuiRiQui mezcal, apple juice, lime juice and grenadine. It’s so good, you’ll be up ordering round two in no time.

Gingerbread Espresso – York and Albany

Earning plaudits for its winteresque pop-up, York and Albany have been completely consistent with their gingerbread theme – from their cookie decor all the way through to their delectable drinks list. Settle into their quirky cabin, get cosy under a blanket and make a move for the Gingerbread Espresso. It’s made with Kahlua, Amaretto and espresso; it’s sure to send you coffee lovers into a tissy.

Young, Free and Jingle – Revolution Bar Clapham

Revolution Bars have, once again, outdone themselves with their Christmas cocktail offering. They have some dreamy drinks for you to work your way through, but one particular drink has made its way to the top of the nice list. The Young, Free and Jingle is pretty as a picture and comes served with edible, colourful candy canes. This winter wonder contains Stoli Vodka, Chambord, Amaretto, cherry syrup and lemon juice, which is then mixed up with Rekorderlig Spiced Plum Cider.
