Booked a booth for 15, which was great. Lovely girl serving is at the table. But the drinks took ages to arrive and the cocktails were like cordial, completely watered down rubbish. Perhaps because they were in happy hour. askcy visited Dirty Martini Clapham on 20 Jan 2017

The service was great! Definitely got what we paid for. We went for one of the pre order packages with a reserved seating area. From the minute we got there staff were very friendly and welcoming and took well care of us considering it was new years and the place was super busy! Fantastic night! Held a surprise party for my fiance and it went off perfectly. Table service was really good, overall service was amazing. . Music wasnt overly loud so didnt have to shout over it! My only gripe was when I booked I was told we would have the whole area on the night but this was shared with another party. Didn't spoil our night though! Would definitely recommend. I had my 30th birthday party there and it just wasn't what I expected it to be. We had arrived later than the booking time that was scheduled because people delayed at dinner so therefore the drinks was delayed too. Anyway, when we arrived we still had to queue up even when I told them we were on the guest-list and as we were late they still didn't take any notice. The guys on the door said we still had to queue up. So of course this took even longer. Finally got through the doors and up the stairs we went. No body was there to lead us to our table, which I was fuming about anyway. Then tried to ask somebody and she just merely pointed in one direction of many tables in front of us, explaining that its just down there. After a few minutes we finally found the table and people had already been seated in our tables. By this point I was even more upset. Me and my guests had to kindly ask them to leave which I wasn't impressed about. There should have been someone there guiding those people out saying that its been reserved. The guy finally arrived and asked if it was I who made the booking. I said yes and then I asked why there were people sitting in our area??? He said he had no notification from the downstairs door guys to state that we were approaching the area. I said this is totally unacceptable and so unorganized!! he couldn't believe it. I also stated that when we arrived there was no bottles of bubbly which was promised to me at arrival. The tables of course were full of alcohol and wasn't clean at all. He then offered me a round of shots for me and my guests which was very kind of him and I gladly accepted. He then also went to bring the bubbly for us too. The rest of the night was good, great music and my friends enjoyed themselves. The only other problem was that other people kept coming and sitting in our area. I then asked the security guard to ensure this doesn't happen as I have reserved this area till 1am. So he got them to move but those same people were rather annoying as they were standing pretty close to our area in which we wanted to dance in. I was extremely disappointed after my experience at Dirty Martini. It was for my 23rd birthday which I had booked 2 weeks in advance, in which they didn't tell me I had to pay to get in when I had especally paid £50 to have my own area. They told me I was too late which seemed to cause a problem and I then had the most appalling customer service there. They didn't show me to my area so I wasted over half an hour trying to find my place for the evening to then find out they had given my table to another party who had also spent my tab of £50. Then told me that they thought I was lying about the table being mine after I had to show them my ID to prove it was me. They offered me a round of free shots for me and my friends but then argued with me how many shots I deserved they suggested 3 even though I came with 4 of my friends so I felt that we deserved 5 which caused a massive problem resulting in more waiting around to be served and speaking to management. I will NOT be coming again and it ruined my birthday. No one apologised for this either and I also had trouble sorting out a new tab which caused me more hassle on the night of my birthday. It was a brilliant way to celebrate a birthday. It had a very relaxed and chilled vibe as well as creating laughter and fun. Everyone here was so Accommodating, and Chip, our tutor, was brilliant. I would definitely recommend this experience to a friend, and would do it all again! I was disappointed I didn't get a booth even though I explained it was for hen night. I also didn't get to pick the food platter I wanted even though I was told this over the telephone as it turned out not all girls wanted beef burger as they don't all eat beef. We arrived at 10pm and we were brought straight to our table and immediately had a server taking our drinks order. The music was excellent. The only thing I would say is after 2 rounds of drinks the service disappeared and it took about 15 mins to get a drink at the bar. Still a really good night though. My best friend and I booked out the venue for our joined 21st birthday party and had an incredible time. Security and staff were amazing, everything was ready for us when we arrived at the venue an hour in advance, and we got lots of help to set everythIng up like we wanted. We had over 200 guests, but no one waited for longer than 5 minutes at the bar which was great! Good music and large venue with both dance floor and lots of sitting space to talk. Cocktails were also really nice, would recommend this to all my friends!

Service was excellent but the cocktails were rally disappointing. Normally they are great but for some reason they were terrible that night. The waitress was kind enough to replace them but they new cocktails were just as bad as the first round. It's a shame as usually it is great in there. I booked Dirty Martini in Clapham to take my best friend to celebrate her 30th, we got the premium package. I have been to other dirty martinis so thought once it gets later in the evening it become a club environment. Well, not this Dirty Martini, we hadn't been told so as we had paid up front for the package we had to stay. Massive disappointment. The music was low enough for us to have a conversation which is what we ended up doing. Before leaving I spoke to the manager and I was told they had had some issues with the noise levels and the residents upstairs hence the music being so low. Completely fair enough. But again, as we hadn't been told it pretty much killed the vibe of the evening. If you are looking for a London night out where you can wear heels and feel posh, go here. However, the staff are just pretentious and rude - way prefer all the other places in Clapham where everyone is so much more down to earth,

I don't like giving bad reviews, however i can only speak from my experience. I came here after a week or so after they had officially opened. I have given 2 stars for there location (next to everything) and décor which i particularly like. The door staff was very rude to myself and my friend. even more so when i tired to inquire if my work mates could still come as they said they weren't letting any more people in. From my opinion it seemed they didn't want certain types of people in. Once inside, it took eternity to get served and even then they had messed up the order. They didn't seem to happy about being informed of the mistake either. It was very packed and i just couldn't relax and enjoy the night. I would go to another dirty Martini just to compare. I personally wouldn't go back to this one.

We held a 'classy' hen do at Dirty Martini's in Clapham. Staff were really helpful (despite my various irritating emails back and forth with them confirming bits and bobs) and friendly on the night. Music could have been better as the group could not really party until the last hour or so. Overall a good fun night

Drinks are nice however, the staff are rude in particular the abundant amount of security guards and the manager. My partner broke a glass by her bag hitting the glass as she got up off her seat and the whole night they kept hanging around us and even made snippy comments as we walked by and we were there for a special occasion. I have had many people advise me not to go there and that the staff are rude,I will not be going there again.

Great service, lovely drinks with gorgeous garnishes and very reasonable happy hour :) I thought the number of bouncers was slightly excessive and gave the place a slightly unwelcoming feel but overall good!
