This week we’re catching up with Laura from our Influencer Team in our HQ office in Manchester. We get the 411 on what an average day looks like as an Influencer Assistant.
My alarm goes off at…
7.30am – followed by one or two hits of the snooze button, naturally.
I start my day by…
I always make my bed first (I’ve read its key for a productive day), have a mini meltdown over what to wear, down some coffee and leave for my walk to work.
I’m responsible for…
Outreaching and gifting UK micro influencers and assisting the influencer marketing team.
The best thing about my job is…
Getting to build relationships and network with some truly inspiring people – plus being able to get outfit inspo every day.
My day in three words…
Busy, interesting, fast.
My fave work memory is…
Probably meeting Jess Woodley – she’s such a babe. Black Friday was incredible too, we had a pop up bar and a jazz band playing!
Advice I’d give to someone getting in this industry
Work experience is just as important as a degree – it’s all about contacts in this industry! Also be prepared to go above and beyond your daily responsibilities.
An average day goes a lil’ like this…
I start my day by de-cluttering my emails and completing a daily social report whilst eating my breakfast.
Another influencer report, followed by more emails and influencer orders.
My fave time of the day – food time! I try get away from my desk for a breather, whether I pop into town or meet a friend for lunch.
I’ll spend the afternoon discovering and outreaching to new influencers. I love coming across amazing new people to work with!
The last hour will be a mixture of helping process payments, orders and emails. We also tend to have meetings later on in the day – discussing exciting gifting ideas and blogger meet ups and events!
