Here at boohoo HQ we’re all caught up in the summer of sport and a little bit of healthy compeititon! 

We’re working with some of our best blogging babes to show that sports can be about style as well as strength and stamina! First off, we’ll be warming up with some Anti-Gravity yoga (to be revealed).
We’re not stopping there either – we’ll also be representing teams from the UK, USA, Australia and France in the very first boohoo Games!

Combining the latest trends with team spirit, fashion and fun, we’ll be crowning a champion for each of our events – with extra points added for creativity and style!

Our blogging athletes will be representing their teams and taking on one of the following challenges and putting their heart and soul into trophy-winning outfits; being sure to follow the rules & break out of their comfort zones:

When it comes to time lost, most of ours goes to… Instagram. From drooling over brunch pics to planning our next haircut (thanks Cara), we just can’t help it (and we don’t want to). Last month, we took our obsession a little further and took to the platform to scout new faces for boohoo. As expected, our fans and followers are totally babein, but there were two we really had to meet, because they were either legit fire or we needed to know which filter, pronto. 
Meet @AMILANG and @HANNAHGIILL, our girl Friday x 2. Not only do they rock a lot of boohoo, they have totally goal worthy feeds that you need to check. Our lead stylist Kate Holroyd put together looks for the babes based on their Insta style and we are crushin, hard!

After announcing that she’s releasing her last album A.I.M on 9 September, Mathangi ‘Maya’ Arulpragasm aka M.I.A dropped her latest track Go Off on Annie Mac’s show last night.

Produced by Skrillex and Blaqstarr, Go Off features the kind of synthy, bass-driven beats you’d expect from Skrilly and is (apparently) her ‘cleanest’ material yet.

Never one to shy away from speaking her mind,  M.I.A said she wanted to “make a video without human beings” because she’s “sick of human beings” right now.

The video has already clocked up over 30k views in less than 24hours. Watch and listen below…

Vogue 100 Comes to Manchester

You may know Manchester as a city of industry, you score extra points if you’ve got the 411 on its colourful musical history, but, have you ever thought about it as a capital of culture? No, it’s time to start, seriously! Home to boohoo HQ, boasting a huge multi-media art centre, tonnes of galleries and some of the best bars and cafes in the UK, Manchester is the new place to see and be seen.

Need more proof? Well, Vogue 100: A Century of Style has just hit town and when Vogue comes, you kind of have to take notice. Showing right now at Manchester Art Gallery, the exhibition celebrates 100 years of Vogue in Britain through the many iconic photographs commissioned by the magazine.

As much as we hate to admit, hot girl stalking on Insta usually sits within our daily grind. Hell, if we were getting paid for it we’d be raking in twice as much as we do on the daily, and there would be MUCH more attention to detail at that. Sure, some fire female bods can be… #unrealistic, but none the less, it’s great summer bod motivation. Especially the case for those of us who are now trying to cram what was supposed to be 3 months gym work into a measly 3 week ‘miracle’.

Scouting the festi scene for new boohoo babes to join our model squad, our model bookers found themselves at Wireless Festival in London. Pop, dance, urban and R&B music filled the weekend with 1975, Calvin Harris, J Cole & Fergie making an appearance. If you’re lucky enough to be heading to Benicàssim, you could be spotted and snapped!
