Our boohoo babe Sophie Hannah Richardson recently jetted off to Croatia, escaping to Hideout Festival. Killing the 90s festi/mermaid vibes in her boohoo garms, she showed us how to style the holiday festival look and talking everything Hideout, boohoo and summer.
Tell us about your trip
Where did you go? I went to Hideout Festival in Croatia on the Isle of Pag!
Who did you go with? Blogger babe, Charlotte Hole from ch32.co.uk
What was your favourite part of the trip? The beaut little town we stayed in called Metanja. It was about a 30 minute shuttle bus ride away from the festival, so it was nice to escape the madness and have some downtime sunbathing and shooting cool content for my blog.
Your favourite trip memory? Being on stage with DJ EZ, Skepta and Jamie XX! Was really cool being at the front shooting cool content and seeing the crowd!
If you could go on a trip with one person in the world who would it be? It would have to be the boyfriend!
Dream holiday destination? This one is tricky as I have a few places I’d love to go to, but I reckon top of my list right now is next years Coachella in Palm Springs. I’ve been to Palm Springs before and it was unreal!

Your trip style
Tell us about your boohoo looks: I obviously had to style up the ‘Mermaid Off Duty’ swimsuit with me being a wannabe mermaid and all! The rest of the pieces I picked and styled because of the print or colour. I knew I was going to a festival out in Croatia and so I wanted to wear the typical ‘festival’ key pieces like tie dye and fringing!
Top tips for packing: Roll your clothes!!! It seriously creates so much more space in your suitcase, which means more bikinis!
What product couldn’t you live without? Aloe Vera! The best product to use after you’ve been in the sun, and it saved my sun burn
What was your trip style? I went with a 90s, mermaid, festival kind of vibe.
Key/staple boohoo product on your trip: The pastel tie dye kimono! It went with everything and in the evenings it was a little chilly, so it kept me that little bit warmer. Crazy because during the day it was 35 degrees!
Summer
What’s your favourite thing to do over summer: Being out in the sunshine with my boyfriend, family or friends. Whether that’s at a festival, on a holiday or in the back garden (if the English weather’s nice)
Beach bag essentials: Sunglasses, towel, sun cream, head phones, phone, Polaroid camera, sliders, boohoo’s donut inflatable
Describe your perfect summers day: Chilling in the garden, the BBQ going with a pear cider in hand.
Tell us about your summer style: I love kimonos, and layering them up with crop tops or mini dresses. You can colour clash and create some fun looks with different print kimonos! When it turns summer though, it means I can also dress more mermaidy
Sunglasses or hats/bikinis, tankinis or one pieces? This is tricky as I love both sunglasses and hats! I love wearing them both together! And I’d say a bikini – something with a high waisted pant as I find that style flattering on me!
