When MTV invited us to #MTVCrashesPlymouth, we wanted to share the good times with some new friends. So we asked Nicole Sage from Sleek-Chic to takeover over our Snapchat for the night to keep us in on all the action (from the VIP area, obviously).

“Hey! It’s Nicole here. If you’re a social media stalker like me, you’ll have seen on boohoo’s Snapchat and Twitter last week that they kindly sent me down to day one of #MTVCrashesPlymouth. Their Snapchat story may now be long gone, so if you didn’t manage to catch their social media for the event here’s a sneak peek at some of the action from the evening…

Set in the historic setting of Plymouth Hoe, with a breathtaking sea view, you can see why more than 30,000 people come to the event each year. Wearing a dreamy head-to-toe babein’ boohoo ensemble I was ready to dance the night away.

The main headliners for the evening were Jonas Blue, Jess Glynne and Rudimental which promised that the night wouldn’t be short of anything but perfect.

The brief rain showers of the evening didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits and with unlimited ice creams and Pimms on tap… it really couldn’t have got any better! After a storming performance by Jess Glynne, the skies finally started to clear up and it was time for Rudimental which was my favourite act of the evening. With an explosive performance of ‘Waiting All Night’, the stage erupted with confetti, smoke and cheers from the crowd, the electrifying buzz from the crowds is what made the atmosphere so amazing.

We left MTV Crashes for the evening with a heart filled of happiness and memories that would a lifetime.
A big thank you to boohoo for letting me takeover their social, I really did have so much fun documenting the evening. MTV Crashes Plymouth might be over for another year, but I’m ready to see who is headlining next year’s event!”
