Having a to-do list as long as your arm can be overwhelming, so it’s important to give yourself regular breaks to stop your brain from getting frazzled. Even nipping to the loo for five minutes of head space can be enough to refresh yourself and help you think clearer once you’re back at your desk. And as tempting as it may seem to do when you’ve got a zillion and one things left to do, make sure you eat your lunch away from your desk. Productivity game-changer.

Plan & Prioritise

I am one of those people who has to write e v e r y t h i n g down, no matter how simple or small it may seem. Having everything I need to do written down in front of me helps me to prioritise what is a must-do and what would be a nice-to-do for the day. Nothing beats the thrill of ticking off a completed task on your to-do list, so give yourself a head start by writing down and ticking off things you’ve already done so give yourself a confidence boosting start!

Tidy Desk, Tidy Mind

Let’s face it; mess = stress and ain’t nobody got time for that. Spend just five minutes every day decluttering any rubbish, filing paperwork and putting your pens back in your pen pot and you’ll instantly be able to think more clearly without so much clutter surrounding you and your thoughts.

Remember, you have the same amount of hours in a day as Beyonce, so stop with the procrastinating and excuse making and just get cracking with what needs to be done.
