Whilst most dress codes are pretty caj these days – check before attending your interview so you get it right. Also – it’s ALWAYS better to be overdressed than underdressed.

Whilst dollars important – talk about your passion first, pay and benefits second. Nobody wants someone who’s just in it for the cash.

5. DO take your time when answering questions

There’s no rush, and there’s no timer. Think carefully about your answers and don’t be afraid to pause or ask for extra time to have a think. It’s waaay better than babbling.

You can keep things professional but still create a lil’ bit of humour of show them what you’re all about. Likability is key.

7. DO research the company before

Knowing a bit of background about how they operate, their values and their success can be ultra useful. It will also look super impressive if you can fit it into convo.

Nobody is perfect – including your potential employer. It’s a skill to be able to identify where you can improve and they’ll deffo respect your honesty.
