We’ve had ice cream cones with candy floss clouds, Ed Sheeran cookie dough desserts and vampire pizza (yes, this actually exists). And just when you thought you’d seen it all, London hits back with another bizarre creation.

Maxwell’s Bar & Grill in Covent Garden are responsible for many epic things – shout out to the Cheesebomb Burger and the Unicorn Freakshake –  and it’s just launched another Insta-worthy bite: the Bacon Cheeseburger Donut.

Filled with loads of cheese, gherkins and topped with bacon, it’s then deep-fried before being sprinkled with icing sugar and injected with a secret sauce.

Yes, it’s bad for your waistline. And yes, it’s probably ticking over your daily amount of calories, but it doesn’t take a genius to work out that it’s worth every last bite.
