Stay At
Air’n’Bs here are full of quirk and charm so check those out or for view opt for a hotel right on the Danube river – a couple offer floor to roof windows that’ll make you not wanna leave your room
Visit
Fishermans Bastion – Into your architecture? This one’s for you. Resembling something out of GOT, this Neo-Gothic building is visually stunning
Gellert Hill – Quite the trek to the top but the views of Budapest once you get there – AMAZING
Parliament Building – One of the city’s most famous buildings so one to check out
Freedom/Liberty Bridge – No transport is allowed across the bridge and you’re allowed to walk as far up it as you want!
Budapest Zoo – A gem of a zoo with a cheap entry free. Plus they even have koala bears!
Magaret Island – A lovely park where you can rent bikes to ride round all it has to offer
Széchenyi Thermal Bath – The largest medicinal baths in Europe where water is supplied by two thermal springs with temperatures up to 77 degrees. SO relaxing – a must-visit
Eat At
The Robinson Restaurant – Restaurant in a beautiful location next to a lake with the most incredible steak and pasta!
New York Cafe – The interior of this place is reason alone to pay a visit. No expense has been spared with its numerous chandeliers and general grandeur. Insta pic heaven
Grab a Drink At
Instant Bar – This bar is a bit of a maze but makes for more fun. It’s full of different rooms – 6 bars, 3 dance floors and 2 gardens to be precise
Szimpla Bar – Noted as Budapest’s most famous pub, it’s an old ruin but the interior and atmosphere make it a must visit
