If you’re hot for your horrors, there’s a new trailer just dropped. And not any kinda trailer. Critics are dubbing this one the ‘world’s scariest horror film.’ Quite the claim. Starring Australian actress Toni Colette, best known for her roles in Sixth Sense and Little Miss Sunshine (or some may remember her as the mum in About A Boy), the film sees a family coping with the loss of their reclusive grandmother who continues to cast a dark shadow over the house even after her passing.

There’s a key focus on the teenage granddaughter and her relationship with her late gran and the family is struck with an overwhelming terror as they try to figure out just what is going on. Maybe not one to watch alone, or ever if you’re not into your jumpy films – but with such a bold claim against the title, I’ll be racing to get there… See for yourself above. ‘Hereditary’ is due to be released in June 2018.
