Hands up if Sabrina The Teenage Witch was all you watched as a kid? Our fave ’90s badass witch is coming back to our screens – only this time with a twist…

So if you were after the same lighthearted comedy from Melissa Joan Hart with it’s sassy AF quotes from pet cat Salem, you’re out of luck. 21-years after the iconic show blessed our screens, Sabrina is getting a horror reboot in a one-hour drama, titled ‘The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’. EEEK.

According to The CW, the adaption will follow a waaay darker narrative – focusing on Sabrina ‘wrestling to reconcile her dual nature as a half-witch, half-mortal, while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit.’

We can expect a complete re-imagining of the TeenNick show we knew and loved – but instead follow a coming of age horror that is “tonally in the vein of Rosemary’s Baby and The Exorcist“.

Now THIS sounds perfect for halloween…
