This week we’re catching up with Megan from our Creative Team based at our HQ office in Manchester. We get the 411 on what an average day looks like as a Junior Graphic Designer.

My alarm goes off at…

7:30 but I’ll sometimes snooze until 8:00 if I’m feeling lazy (everyday)

I start my day by…

Catching up with the team and grabbing breakfast before checking my emails and workflow to see what we’ve got on for that day

I’m responsible for…

Any sort of artwork needed whether that be for digital or print. From social media posts and emails to internal notices and billboards

The best thing about my job is…

I get to be creative everyday. Plus I work with a pretty great bunch of people

My day in three words…

Creative, busy, varied

My fave work memory is…

There’s so many to choose from. We’ve had some pretty great parties but I think working on a parcel magazine and seeing that go to print was pretty special

Advice I’d give to someone getting in this industry

Don’t be afraid to ask questions

An average day goes a lil’ like this…

9am

Quick trip to the Attic for a cup of tea and maybe some eggs and avo on toast if I’m feeling like treating myself

11am

I’ll probably be well into a project by now, it could be anything from an email to social media stuff

1pm

Gym time and a quick lunch

3pm

Unless I have an ongoing project, I’ll normally be working on something different by this point

5pm

Trying to get all my jobs from the day tied up or making sure I’m ready to carry on with them in the morning. (And thinking about what I’m going to have for tea)
