Recently I headed up to Manchester to boohoo’s HQ to take part in their Student Ambassador training day. boohoo have set up an amazing and inspiring program for students across different UK universities, in which they will get the chance at creating content for boohoo’s platforms. What an amazing opportunity for a student, to be able to create unique content and to showcase it right here on ‘The Fix.’
As a full time blogger, creating content daily, boohoo wanted me to offer a bit of advice to the students and to inspire them on how they could create content such as flat lays, outfit posts and even videos.
Earlier this month The Fix team were transported to another realm in the form of Amaluna at the opening night of Cirque Du Soleil’s global touring show in Manchester. Well, after we’d successfully managed to take the wrong turning several times at The Trafford Centre which is where the performances are held under a massive white tent until 2nd October.
Rumour has it that when cupid is lacking in inspiration he makes a quick phone call to the creative folk at DesignMyNight. We decided to skip the middle man, cut out cupid and go straight to the source to find boozy afternoon teas in Birmingham, Mad Men speakeasy bars in Manchester and sky high cinemas in London. Ladies, these are Britain’s best first date bars and they are guaranteed to leave your man coming back for more.
