Exclusively occupying the top three floors, Searcys at The Gherkin provides world-class catering and drinks at this unique landmark thanks to an eclectic roster of cocktails set alongside bites and stunning plates in the restaurant. Please note: You will be asked for a form of picture identification at reception and will need to go through security checks before being whisked away up to bar, in the sky lifts.

Another gorgeous view of London from this vantage point and I love the 360 degree bar although a little tricky to take a panoramic view but none the less very scenic. Staff were very polite and friendly and food was great! Definitely recommend if you fancy treating yourself once in while.

The views from this venue are second to none! Really beautiful! I'll venture on over to this bar for brunch, mid afternoon tea or even for after work drinks. Lovely atmosphere and super friendly and helpful staff.

Visited for their Moroccan themed evening and had a great time. Definitely visit once the sun goes down rather than during the day as the views are all that more magical.

Visited the bar on a Friday evening in December for a couple of drinks with a friend before having dinner nearby. The staff were very attentive from the moment we arrived and seated us quickly. We were lucky enough to get a window table, and the 360 degree views of the London skyline were amazing! We had a glass of Champagne recommended to us and this went down very well. Followed this up with a cocktail which was equally as great! The space itself was decorated beautifully for Christmas which was an added bonus. Would definitely return!

I can't believe this is a true private members club. We booked 2.30 to 4.30 for a special thing with my mother in law. At 3.40 we were told the bar was closing. We could continue to enjoy our drink but they had an event. At 4pm the bar closed. The staff then proceeded to literally close the bar around us, scraping tables and chairs on the floor to make a clear space. People started to empty and the place became cold but we wanted to see the view in the dark so waited. At 4.15, 15 minutes before our slot was over we were told we needed to leave as the place was now closed. We complained explaining that our booking shouldn't have been accepted if the venue wasn't open during the time. Before we arrived home we did receive an apology offering us to revisit at a cost to us of £36 and if we did between the three of us we would get two complimentary glasses of champagne by way of apology. Bar is quite run-down for a supposedly "world-class" club, with worn and scratched tables and chairs. View is so-so due to the design of the building - there is quite a gap between the railing and the actual window. Jocelyn visited Searcys Bar At The Gherkin on 15 Oct 2016

Fantastic chance to experience the Gherkin and see the amazing views. Atmosphere was great, service was attentive. It's a 'splash the cash' but a bucket list place to go with the wow factor. I had a lovely evening here celebrating my fiancés 30th, the views are out of this world and we enjoyed a glass of champagne while taking in the beautiful sights and just enjoying the vibe in the bar. We had a great night at the bar with the girls drinking cocktails and bubbles great views and a lovely chilled atmosphere. Bar staff very charming and made me a gorgeous margarita that was not on the menu

This was such a fantastic evening! The fact that you are allocated a table for a set amount of time means you are able to enjoy the views without feeling hemmed-in with 200 other people, unlike the Shard. The staff, from security to bar staff, were all extremely welcoming and really made the evening for us. The views were spectacular and well worth the visit, despite the dramatic fog swirling around us at one point. All-in-all a really wonderful evening. I will definitely be coming back! This is perhaps one of the best bars to visit if you are looking for incredible views of London. While being a members only location, you are able to get in and enjoy yourself. Be prepared to be amazed!

Headed up here from a booking made on this site. Was an amazing experience...even loved the formality of security and bag scanning at the front door! The views are undescribable really. 360 all glass views. The drinks were perhaps a tad over-priced in my mind but I suppose it is a members bar and in an incredible location!

I bought tickets through Design My Night for entrance to the bar at the top of the Gherkin with a cocktail on arrival. The views were fantastic and the venue was a great place to experience. We did order some food from the limited bar menu which was fine but nothing special. Fantastic view (obviously), but a bit let down by the bar to be honest. The other reviewers are right with the plastic chairs and minimal design. I booked a Valentines Day special which came with some fantastic champagne and oysters. If it wasn't for the view then I would have been disappointed. Fun, unique experience that was relatively reasonable. So, at the end of the day this is a small-ish bar - BUT what it may lack in size it makes up for in views. It was a minimalist design (plasticky chairs facing outwards around the walls/glass) with quite awesome overhead lighting from the top of the building (though it does get a bit dim). Drinks not unreasonably priced either. Would perhaps have liked some bar snacks but these weren't being sold/served until 18.00. Really this is for the experience and IMO was worth it! This wasn't worth the effort or money. Bar staff misinformed us saying the building was closing at 4pm. It didn't. This 'greeting' ruined it for us, no ambience, plastic chairs

A fantastic bar with amazing views of London! Was a bit concerned drinks would be expensive but they were actually really reasonably priced for London let alone a bar at the top of the Gherkin. We had a wonderful afternoon at Searcys. There was no fuss or trouble with the booking. The service and the staff were excellent and friendly. I would love to be able to leave a great review however I was never given the opportunity to go! I had made my booking through Design My Night two weeks ago as soon as I received the email with the special promotion for Design My Night users. It was my husband's birthday and I thought it would be great way to celebrate. However, I was contacted the day before my booking that unfortunately too many bookings had been made and due to fire safety concerns my booking had to be cancelled. I would not recommend Searcys considering the amount of other amazing spots with a view in London. The service was slow and we were made to feel as though weren't good enough to be there. The atmosphere is quite soulless/ lacking cosiness - just a few curtains and cushions to make it look Moroccan - something i'd expect from a last minute party held in the office. The food was nothing special, more so disappointing for the expense.

Not worth the time or money visiting, you could visit the sky garden across the road for free and enjoy a similar view if not better. The food on offer was nothing short of awful and the cocktail choice limited. The first cocktail is forced upon you and full of cardamom which isn't enjoyable. Personally I would save your money and go elsewhere (sky garden, shard or the Hilton at Tower Hill)

There are better roof top bars and restaurants in London (the shard, duck and waffle ect). I found the reservation staff extremely rude, although the waitors were friendly enough. We bought the 'champagne package' which used the cheapest, worst champagne possible, and was generally bit a of a rip off.

This was the first stop on our day in London for our 1st wedding anniversary and it didn't disappoint. You are paying for the views and the experience not the food and drinks. The drinks were nice and the food was okay.

Great view up there and the cocktails are tasty (at £11 a pop). But don't get any of the food, it was incredibly expensive, tiny in size, and not of great quality - definitely not worth it. The pitta breads were like cardboard!

Had the pleasure of attending the Moroccan pop-up this week, and for the view alone this is worth it. London's rooftop bards can't quite compare to the amazing city sights up here. But a pretty penny it might be

Beautiful Bar! The top of the Gherkin is a surreal place overlooking the city. The staff were polite and not overcrowding. The bar was quite on a weekday evening and the cocktails delicious. If given the opportunity it's a must to visit the bar and take in the experience.
