If you’re looking to update your Spotify playlist this summer, then you need to check out new gal-on-the-block Sigrid.
The 20 year-old Norwegian singer has been compared to Lorde for her raspy tones throughout her debut single Don’t Kill My Vibe, and was signed by Island Records at just 16 years old. The EP is one we’ve definitely been listening to on a loop ever since we heard it and this single is all about the sass.
With some great clap-back vibes such as ‘You think you’re so important to me don’t you’ and ‘Guess you’re surprised I’m the puzzle you can’t figure out’, it’s a great slow starter that rolls into stronger drums and synth alongside her powerful vocals for a song full of attitude. Like with many great artists, you can’t help but want to belt out the lyrics whilst in the shower.
Music is in her veins, with her brother and sister both musicians. She’s since headed to Bergen where the indie music scene is, so there are high hopes for her to become the hottest talent this year.
She’ll be playing in Manchester at The Deaf Institute on May 15th, so check her out before she gets huge.

There’s nothing like belting out your fave songs with the squad to get you pumped en route to your weekend getaway.
Down struggle style street? Stress over. Take inspo from some of our fave bloggers. And they’re all rockin’ boohoo.

Gone are the days of heading to a standard bar for a white wine spritzer. Theatrical cocktails can be found at every turn and there’s loads of themed bars to discover – you just gotta know where to find them. To help you on your merry way, we’ve called on our friends at DesignMyNight to handpick the weirdest bars across the UK. From drinking dens in converted toilets to wacky school-themed hangouts, this list is guaranteed to make your jaw drop.
As far as weird bars go, one that resembles a school is pretty up there. The Schoolhouse in Battersea is the perfect place to drink if you’re after a trip down memory lane. It’s got just the right amount of quirk, with worn wooden tables, a used whiteboard, bookshelf wallpaper and plenty of science labels to go around. Their all-day grub is served on school dinner trays, and the menu is aptly themed with meals like The Headmaster’s Big Breakfast and The Teacher’s Conference Sharing Board stealing all the limelight. Drink-wise; they stock over 60 craft beers, but take our advice and go for the disobedient-sounding Naugh-tea Schoolgirl.

In life, there are certain rules we have to abide by. Stop at a red light. Get to work on time. Don’t have the same crush as your bestie. You know, the important stuff.
When it comes to girl code, it’s no different. And just in case you’ve forgotten, here are the unwritten rules every friendship follows…

The nights are longer, the sun is shining and the cocktails are in sight; summer is most definitely coming. And while your wardrobe might be coming along nicely, you’re gonna want some equally killer jams for those lazy days in the sun.

One of the best things about spring is that everything just becomes 10000x prettier, right? Instagram friendly blossom trees, floral prints and pastel hues everywhere – combine that with the fact it’s prime time for occasionwear, and it’s the most stylish season hands down.

On Friday March 31st, I went to Runway On The Runway in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust on behalf of boohoo.
