Feeling bogged down with your BAU? Wanna up your life game? We got ya. Here’s 8 tips to help you boss your life, starting from RN.
Before you do anything – declutter. You can’t work, live or sleep in a crowded space so ask yourself realistically if you need all the things you’ve got. Chances are even if you’ve got three bags full of make-up, you only use 30% of it. So why keep it? Devote some time every month to decluttering for a more zen space.
2. Get Organised
Date with your S.O? Brunch with the gals? Gym class at 6? Get those plans in your diary so you can see where your free time lies and you’re not stressing because you can’t remember what you’ve got on next Thursday at 5.
3. Do Something For You
Sometimes it pays to be a lil’ selfish. Recharge your batteries, take a cooking class or start training for a 10k. Anything that’ll inch you closer to feeling like the badass you are. And yes you can achieve anything.
4. Fake It ‘Til You Make It
No-one will know you’re not confident unless you show it. So put on your best smile and own any situation. Or get your friend to give you that 5 min pep talk you need to kill it!
5. Stop Saying “I Don’t Have Time”
No-one likes those people. It’s about time management. You make time for what you want in your life so if you wanna fit something new in, see where you can make sacrifices or changes.
6. Set Yourself Some Goals
And put timings against them. Maybe you want to have read 7 books this year. Or have saved for a house in the next 12 months. When you plan ahead and break it down, it becomes that lil’ bit more achievable.
7. Cut Out People Who Drain You
Obviously try with them first. But if people in your life are causing you more harm than good – think about cutting them out. Life’s too short to be unhappy.
8. Don’t Be Afraid To Dream
And dream big. Even if you don’t achieve the ultimate job or house, you’ll have worked as close as poss. And it’ll make you more grateful along the way. Dreams give you direction so get ready to catch some zzzs.
