This week we’re catching up with Erin from our Brand Team based at our HQ office in Manchester. We get the 411 on what an average day looks like as a Global Campaign Executive.
My alarm goes off at…
6.30am (SNOOZE until 6.45!!)
I start my day by…
Rush to get ready and down a brew whilst downloading something from Netflix to watch on the train
I’m responsible for…
All things ‘Above The Line marketing’ and global campaigns
The best thing about my job is…
The people and the travel, easy!
My day in three words…
Busy. Fast and fun.
My fave work memory is…
Travelling for 26 hours to spend 4 days shooting our TV ad in Marfa, Texas. The weirdest/most magical place!
Advice I’d give to someone getting in this industry
Firstly, if you think the fashion industry is going to be all glam, think again! Secondly, know your strengths and don’t lose yourself in it
An average day goes a lil’ like this…
9am
Breakfast and coffee at my desk whilst getting through emails and looking at what our competitors are doing
11am
Briefing artwork for our next billboard and checking where we’re up to on TV edits
1pm
Eat lunch whilst catching up with our media agencies and reviewing the memes I’ve been tagged in by the team (essential reading)
3pm
Meetings with various teams about the next campaign we’re launching (where we’re shooting, what we’re shooting, how we’re talking about it etc…)
5pm
Last hour is usually when I realise I still haven’t managed to tick anything off my to-do list, rush through some emails and run for the train…
