There are a few things that will always be timeless classics. THAT Little Black Dress and killer heels combo,  a chilled glass of prosecco or a killer Cosmo, a smoky eye or red lip, Love Actually and Kate Moss. 

Queen Kate has been gracing catwalks since the early 90s and is, quite frankly, the ultimate boss. In honour of her 43rd birthday (no, we can’t believe she’s 43 either!), we’ve put together a list of reasons why we should all bow down to Queen Kate.

Catwalk Queen

Ever since she was spotted at an airport aged 17, Moss has bossed the catwalk and pages of every fashion magazine around.She’s worked with everyone from Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar to YSL and Cavalli. She even posed nude for the 60th anniversary of Playboy. 

High-Street Honey

She launched a sell-out range of clothes with Topshop, has been the face of Mango, and still has one of the most successful lines of make-up with Rimmel – her lipstick in shade 107? Yaaaaaas! Kate may have worked with some of the biggest designers in the world, but she’s also been a face on the high-street too. You CAN dress like Moss. She’s made it easy.

Fashion Icon

Kate Moss made festi dressing a big thing – everyone remembers her 2005 Glastonbury get up. Who else can make Hunters and denim cut-offs look as cool as Kate? Answer: No-one. 

Coolest Mom Ever

Together, they travel the world and my god think of the hand-me-downs Lila must get!   

Charitable Efforts

On top of being a mom, supermodel, and all round babe, Kate dedicates a huge chunk of her time to her charitable efforts. She helped launch the Sam and Ruby charity in 2006, designed a charm in aid of Cancer Research UK in 2007 and is a huge supporter of the Elton John AIDs Foundation. 

Silver Screen Siren

From Little Britain to the Ab Fab movie, Kate shows that isn’t anything she can’t do. Because we all wish we looked that sassy crawling out The Thames in a green sequin gown.
