Spring’s finally here, and it’s time to put away your winter layers and have fun with your style. Here are some of the beauty trends that are set to be big this season, and how to make them wearable for you.

Hair Clips

Cute hair accessories cropped up all over the catwalks at fashion week, so take it back to the 90s with pearls, or go for the sleek look with metallic clips.

Ombre Lip

Be bold with your lips this season and experiment with the ombre lip – try a bright red lipstick with a berry-toned liner to ease you into the trend. Keep the rest of your look simple for maximum impact.

Glossy Skin

Glossy skin is a huge Korean beauty trend – it’s so fresh and youthful and all about putting down the highlighter and focusing instead on hydration. Choose a dewy foundation and a hydrating setting spray, and let your skin shine through.

A Bold AF Eye

Green, blue, pink, orange, yellow – whatever your favourite bright colour is, wear it on your eyes. No, it’s not like that time you experimented with blue eyeshadow in year 8. Instead, take a punchy, neon colour and smother it all over your eyes – own the colour. If you’re not quite brave enough, take the colour and use a flat brush to push it into your lower lashline.

Minimal Nail Art

Nail art has kinda fallen out of favour over the last few seasons, but it’s back, with a twist. It’s all about minimalism. Use your imagination – think delicate details on your bare nails, or using negative space to create a great design.

Graphic Eyes

Stop perfecting that feline flick, right now. Just don’t put the eyeliner down completely – this season is for creating bold, graphic shapes. At Tom Ford, we saw thumbprint shapes at the edge of the eye – perfect for those of us who never quite got their head around creating perfect cat-eye flicks.
