Not that you need filling in, but the 21st June is the official start of summer. From watching Four Weddings and a Funeral underneath a blanket of stars to doing yoga on a sandy, pop-up beach, we got in touch with DesignMyNight for the top 10 things to kick start your long evenings. If the weather doesn’t play ball, don’t panic; you can still have fun inside by time traveling to the wild west and drinking moonshine, or filling up on five hours of bottomless wings at a bonkers brunch.

1. Moonshine Saloon

The brains behind London’s world-famous Alcotraz have come up with another fantastic concept: Moonshine Saloon. Twirling the clock back to a time when cowboy boots were the norm, you’ll be taken to the wild, wild west for a BYOB knees-up like no other – just make sure you steer clear of the sheriff when you’re drinking that illegal moonshine.

2. Beach Yoga at Neverland

Who needs a holiday when you have Fulham Beach Club? This slick summer pop-up is back for another season of revelry, and they have lots of activities to keep you busy; we’re talking mini croquet, shuffleboard, putting pong and beach yoga. Taking place every Saturday, you’ll work on strengthening your body to Thames-side views and a motivational soundtrack.

3. Summertime: The Pool Party Series

Remove that blow up pool from your online shopping basket and get in the know when it comes to London’s hottest pop-up. Summertime: The Pool Party Series is in London for three dates this summer, with the first taking place on June 10th, and anyone who’s anyone is gonna be there. Bringing holiday vibes to South London, expect glitter stations, VIP cabanas, Instagrammable inflatables and plenty of poolside cocktails.

4. Nomad Cinema

Popping up everywhere from Hyde Park Lido to Queens Park, Nomad Cinema is an absolute must for your summer bucket list. They have a stellar movie line-up for the coming months, but the roaming cinema is screening Four Wedding and a Funeral in Paddington Street Gardens this June, and tickets are a steal at £15.

5. Bottomless Wings Brunch

If you’re getting a little bored of shovelling avocado and eggs into your mouth every weekend, Wing Wing have the solution: their K-Pop Brunch. Avoiding typical brunch dishes, pay these guys a visit for 5 hours of bottomless wings. Yup, five whole hours. They’ve got ‘karaoke coops’ too, where you can be your best singing self, and if you throw in an extra £10, you’ll get two hours of endless Korean-inspired cocktails.

6. Feasty Blinders

The year is 1920 and by order of The Feasty Blinders, you’re to attend the opening of The Eden Club. Taking place in a secret London location, this Peaky Blinders-inspired pop-up will see you drinking bottomless Shelby gin and Solomon rum cocktails for an hour, eating a three-course meal and partying with Birmingham’s most notorious family.

7. Speed Darting

For a city of almost 9 million people, finding someone (normal) to date is a bloody nightmare. Here to help ease the pain of endless Tinder swiping, is Flight Club. They’re hosting a singles night every Monday titled ‘Speed Darting’, and your ticket price includes a slushie cocktail to settle those pre-dart butterflies.

8. London Gin Cruise

London’s first ever artisan gin cruise? It’s here! Setting sail on Sunday 3rd June, this picturesque boat ride will take you past London Zoo and Regent’s Park, as you sample three expertly made G&Ts, join a masterclass with the distiller and eat a snappy selection of gin-inspired tapas. Lasting three hours, you can always order from their cocktail menu if you want another bevvie before you hit dry land.

9. The Ultimate Dinner Party

London is packed with brilliant bars, but none are quite like The Little Blue Door. Mimicking a house share, with the coolest flatmates in the world, this kooky place has a study area, a sitting room and a kitchen/dining area, where their Ultimate Dinner Parties take place. Drawing inspiration from one of the housemate’s travels, guests will dine on three comforting courses, ranging from New England-style clam chowder to truffle mac ‘n’ cheese.

10. The Murdér Express

If you’re looking for something a little different to do this June, look no further than The Murdér Express. This immersive pop-up is a five star experience that will have you drinking cocktails from a Seven Sins platform bar, dining on a luxury train and using your quick wit to find out whodunnit.
