See what went down at our influencer well-being event at the top of The Gherkin in London!
Not letting the Jan blues get us down, we headed to Searcys bar at the top of The Gherkin to start the year on a literal high for our #TheYearofYou event.
Not to mention the best views across London, we joined Searcy’s during their #ArtofBeing wellness campaign so it was the perfect place for us to kick-start our 2019 goals and find motivation to make them last all year.
Dressed in the new boohooFIT range, we invited some of our boohoo babes, including Kendall Rae-Knight and Ellie Brown, for an evening of fitness, mocktails and healthy treats followed by an empowering panel discussion.
Hosted by our friends and fitness gods over at PRO.PT, the evening began with a toning class at the very top of the Gherkin (#workoutgoals). They got everyone working up a heat in no time but then cooled us right down with some deep stretches.
Next, we had time to relax and hang out with each other over some delicious healthy canapés, salad bowls and mocktails served by the Searcys team.
With the workout complete and everyone filled up on delicious healthy treats, it was time for our panel discussion hosted by the lovely Sophie Eggleton to talk all things #theyearofyou with our expert panel line up – PRO.PT founders and brothers Idris and Yusef Bouttaura, Linda Liao from the Mental Health Foundation, plus size model Ayesha Perry-Iqbal and foodie expert Samira Kazan otherwise known as @alphafoodie.
They proved the perfect fivesome to cover everything from fitness tips and nutrition goals and how this all ties in with our own self-love and mental health – everyone was left feeling inspired and ready to make 2019 their year.
Watch this space for exclusive tips from our #TheYearofYou panel soon!
