Whether you’ve got post-holiday blues or you’re still waiting to hop on the next jet plane outta here, July has got some stellar events up its sleeve, and it would be a shame to miss out. From watching Breakfast at Tiffany’s under the stars at a cute pop-up cinema to bottomless brunch at London’s first ever sparkling wine bar, DesignMyNight gave us the scoop on 10 awesome things to do this month.

Have Brunch With Amazing View of London

Screw breakfast. Everyone knows that brunch is the most important meal of the day. Pack in your plans for Saturday 29th July and join Dayzed for the ultimate brunch party at Duck and Waffle and Sushisamba. Boasting three floors and two terraces that overlook London’s spectacular skyline, expect a glamorous crowd and non-stop fun at this snazzy soiree.

Watch Breakfast at Tiffany’s Under The Stars

Take movie night to the next level and nab two tickets to the Luna Cinema’s screening of Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Popping up at the picturesque Kenwood House on Wednesday 19th July, pack a cosy blanket and get ready for a unique night under the stars. There will be a bar on site stocked with beer and prosecco and a pizzeria dishing out cheesy creations.

Party With Mr Gatsby

If there’s one man with plenty of sex appeal, it’s Mr Gatsby. And as luck would have it, he’s just extended an invite for you to attend one of his secret rendezvous in July. He wants you to meet him at his drugstore at 12 Pilgrimage Street for a night of hedonism, but you must be – under his orders – dressed to the nines. Scroll through the ‘new arrivals’ selection until you find a killer outfit.

Go To A Brunch With Bottomless Pizza

Wake up and smell the cheese, ladies. There’s a pizza party coming to East London this July, and it promises a whole hour of endless cocktails and a whole hour of endless pizza. Drink and eat to your heart’s content (or until your trousers refuse to expand any more) before hitting the stage for a hip hop karaoke session. With DJ sets and an outside bar, this weekend event promises all that, and more.

Play Shuffleboard at London’s Coolest Pop-Up

Way back in the late 1400s, Shuffleboard was the preferred past time of King Henry IV, but this mighty game has had a makeover in recent years – and London is hooked. Grab a disc and cue, and hit one of the six lanes with a cocktail in hand at The London Shuffle Club, making the most of its quirky Florida vibes while you’re there. Decked out with leafy palm trees and pink flamingos, in the words of our fave rapper Will Smith, ‘welcome to Miami’.

Have a BBQ Along The Thames

Worried about cremating everything that hits the grill of your disposable BBQ? We’ve got a solution: Jimmy’s BBQ Club. Located along the banks of the Thames, head upstairs to the interactive six-course supper club and tuck in to lamb cutlets, hand-dived scallops and s’mores sandwiches packed with melted marshmallows. It’s also got an honesty bar stocked with wine, beer and everything you need for a refreshing G&T.

Go To a Secret Gin Soiree

Are you an adventurous soul? There’s a secret soiree happening at a place called Juniper Manor, and it’s not one you wanna miss. It’s an evening all about gin but what happens in its four walls is a complete mystery. It’s all very cloak and dagger but one thing’s for sure – you’re going to have some of the best gin-based cocktails and food to grace London.

Party at an Irish Gin and Tonic Festival

Gin isn’t just distilled in England, you know. Our friends on the Emerald Isle are pretty skilled at creating the juniper spirit too, and they’ve decided to bring their bottles to our attention with a G&T festival on Saturday 1st July. Showcasing bottles from all four provinces, the boozy festival will introduce Londoners to Ireland’s finest gin produce. Your £10 ticket will include unlimited tastings, so move fast before they sell out.

Workout At One Of London’s Prettiest Rooftops

Switch up your morning routine this month and get hot ‘n’ sweaty with an intense workout at Aviary; one of London’s coolest rooftops. HIIT the Roof will have you hitting three pillars: run, condition and move, while you take in the capital’s beautiful skyline. After your 50 minute class, you will be rewarded with fruity smoothies on the terrace.

Visit London’s First Ever Sparkling Wine Bar

London’s been hit with a lot of pop-up firsts in recent months but Fiz might be the best one yet. Dedicated to sparkling wine, it’s the first of its kind in the big bad smoke. Nestled away at the Insta-worthy Lights of Soho, you hungry lot will be over the moon to know that they’re hosting a bottomless brunch every weekend until August. Better yet, you can pop endless bottles of fizz for just £20. Forgive the pun, but their brunch dishes are corkers too, with buttermilk pancakes and grilled cheese sandwiches.
