We caught up with your fave girl from the ‘Gram, Tori Wade, to talk all things spring/summer and get her take on how to look next level this occasion wear season.
What would you typically wear for a spring/summer big deal occasion?
If I wanted to make a statement for summer, I would most definitely picture myself wearing something super bright like a neon matching set or tight dress. As for makeup I always feel that less is more, I’ve never been a huge fan of super heavy makeup. It would really be all about the outfit and accessories.
How experimental are you when it comes to what you wear and your glam?
I feel like when there is room to be experimental, be experimental! Especially with outfits. I’d literally go wild with changing up my outfits. The same with my hair, I always want it styled a different way and I’m always searching for new looks to create with my hair. The only thing that would stay quite classic would be my makeup, I feel like once you have your look you like to stick with it and change up everything else to keep it fresh!
What trends are you looking forward to wearing this spring/summer?
To be honest I’m itching for summer right now, I believe I’m a completely different person in summer! My whole mood changes and I become so happy in summer soooo that’s probably what I’m most excited about. I’m looking forward to wearing some cute floral pieces this summer, I’ve been seeing them show up recently so can’t wait to tie them in with my summer outfits.
Where do you get your inspiration from when it comes to getting dressed?
I get my what to wear inspiration from Instagram to Pinterest to general website browsing, I’m always finding fashion and beauty inspiration 24/7. I’m the type of person that will sit on a fashion brand website and scroll for hours. It’s literally like therapy to me.
What’s your go-to playlist you listen to while getting ready?
Ooooft!!! I listen to music more than I do anything else. Every day without fail I listen to my Spotify playlist & it puts me in the right mood every day, 100% helps me get ready! My Spotify account is Tori.wade1 if you want to listen with me!
Tell us some beauty tips you’ve picked up from makeup artists
Wow, so many. I always pay loads of attention to the makeup artists I work with on shoots. I ask them heaps of questions – it’s like a free makeup lesson! My latest trick I learnt from a MUA I worked with was the soap brows trick. You literally run soap through your eyebrows with a spooly. Everyone needs to look it up!
What are your most looking forward to this spring/summer?
What I’m most excited for this summer is the weather and endless beach days! I love hanging out by the pool with my gals listening to music and drinking iced coffees! It’s literally the best!
