Ballie Ballerson New Year’s Ball Out
Okay, so this party is not heels-friendly; but it’s all for good reason because it involves rollicking around in a giant ball pit. Yep, you heard that right. If you want to awaken your inner child this New Year’s Eve, Ballie Ballerson’s New Year’s Ball Out is the place to be. Expect two ball ponds with over a million balls (one of which is glow in the dark), and in between dips and dives, you can enjoy theatrical cocktails and free Champagne when the clock strikes 12. If you’re looking for a party with the fun factor, this is it.
Hush Presents: Secret Speakeasy NYE 2017
Don your sparkliest gown and prepare for a little time travel, because one of Mayfair’s best bars is throwing it back to 1920s Manhattan for an immersive prohibition party like no other. You’ll be thrown into a world of warring mobsters, where ‘Mad Dog’ Moriziano is plotting murderous revenge against Johnny “The Doctor” Costello – unless he can come up with one million pounds by midnight, that is. This heart-quickening action will be unfolding around you whilst you sip on ‘secret’ cocktails and tuck into a three-course meal. With bubbles and post midnight hot dogs, it’s going to be a New Year’s to remember.
Twisted Circus NYE 2017
Twisted Circus is back once again for New Year’s Eve and their event looks both kooky and marvellous in equal measure. For one night only, The 02 Forum will be transformed into a madhouse where all kinds of glamourous circus freaks await; we’re talking spinning aerialists, sword-balancing daredevils and synchronised swingers at every turn. The dress code is smart, so if there’s an outfit you’ve been lusting over, you’ve now got the perfect excuse to splash out.
Cahoots’ Vintage New Year’s Knees-Up
It’s you’ve heard of Cahoots, you’ll know that these guys are pros when it comes to throwing a vintage shindig. They have a 1940s-themed soiree planned for 31st December and it will kick off with a Moët & Chandon Champagne reception followed by canapés; with bottomless Belvedere cocktails seeing you up until midnight, and beyond. Thought it couldn’t get any better? You thought wrong. The Hotsie Totsies will be providing the best in lindy hop and vintage beats to keep you swinging all night long.

Hardcore 90s devotee? There’s only one place for you this New Year’s Eve and that’s at All Star Lanes’ 1997-themed party in Brick Lane. Celebrating the decade’s undying love of neon, Britpop and questionable fashion choices; if you’ve been dying to whip out your best 90s outfit; this is your chance. Naturally, the soundtrack will be non-stop 90s all through the night, and for only £20 you’ll get a welcome cocktail, fizz at midnight and a game of bowling. As it is New Year’s Eve, go all-out fancy and add on a two-course meal with drinks.
New Year’s Eve – Chicago Speakeasy
Barts is one of Chelsea’s quirkiest (and most Instagrammable) bars, and this year they’re throwing one helluva New Year’s Eve bash. You can expect live soul music, an oh-so-decadent Veuve Clicquot Champagne reception followed by free-flowing Belvedere cocktails and bacon butties when the clock strikes 12.
New Year at The Mansion
Three words: pink dress code. If that wasn’t enough to entice you to New Year at The Mansion; there’s a prize for best dressed and a whole host of quirks to look forward to. Set across three dancefloors, prepare to be well and truly dazzled as jugglers, fire shows, glamourous cage dancers, saxophonists and psychedelic movie showings unravel around you. Be fashionably early and you’ll be rewarded with 2-4-1 drinks before 10pm, and they will have street food on hand to cure your hunger pangs should you need a pick-me-up. Feeling mystical? Visit the clairvoyant to see what awaits you in 2018…

Your ticket will include a Champagne reception with canapés, a delicious three-course meal and unlimited wine or beer through the night. Entertainment-wise: there’s going to be a light show and performances from acrobats and contortionists.
