Forget Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, this New Year’s Eve bash is stuck firmly in the 1940s. Organised by Bourne and Hollingsworth – the same group behind the gorgeous floral restaurant – The Blitz Party goes all out with its end-of-war theme, from sandbags through to ration books in place of menus. Guests are expected to get stuck in with a strict dress code that encompasses soldiers’ uniform, swing dresses and victory rolls.
