Planning a trip to the Scottish city? Here’s the bits in Glasgow worth putting on your hit list.

Have nibbles with a view

The Red Sky Bar

Glasgow’s only rooftop bar, it’s a 30 minute walk from the centre, of if you’re feeling extra lazy, Uber it. It’s at the top of the Radisson Red hotel and overlooks the water. The outside terrace is limited for seats but the inside is equally as beaut. Plus fizz is just a fiver, so you’re hardly breaking the bank…

Do it for the ‘gram

Ashton Lane

Arguably one of Glasgow’s prettiest streets, Ashton Lane is home to some of the city’s most raved about restaurants. The fairy light adorned cobbled street is worth a stroll alone for its character. And an Instagram pic, or six.

Pretend to enrol at

Glasgow University

Wanna feel like you’re at Hogwarts? Head to Glasgow Uni where you can pretend you’re running late for potion class. Key bits include The Cloisters and in between the East and West Quadrangle.

Grab some Eggs Bennie

The Hillhead Bookclub

Back in Hillhead, this place serves up a killer breakfast at incred prices. At night, this place switches up to a lively bar with DJ and FREE ping pong.

Get cultured

Kelvingrove Art Museum

One of those walk in and go wow venues, Kelvingrove Art Museum is grand AF and will have you wanting to snap every angle. It’s huge so expect to lose a few hours wandering around.

Raise a glass

The Corinthian Club

Steeped in history, this regal bar and restaurant is worth putting on your best OOTD for.

Catch some live music

Maggie Mays

There’s a reason so many people recommend it!

Climb to the top

The Lighthouse

A free view point of the city, climb the spiral staircase all the way to the top for a killer view over Glasgow.

Wander around

Glasgow Botanic Gardens

Take five outta the city and head to Glasgow’s Botanic Gardens. It’s acres of greenery, lakes and beaut glasshouses.
