Believe it or not, Shoreditch was a bit of a no-go zone once upon a time. But since being built up with plenty of quirky places to eat and drink, it’s now known as one of London’s coolest areas, which is why we got in contact with DesignMyNight.

I dare you to find fault in a Full English…
Brunch: it’s our fave meal of the day. Why? It’s early enough that you can order eggs without being judged and late enough that it’s more than acceptable to order a mimosa (or three.)
So it seemed only fair that we checked out London’s offering of brunch menus while we were down there for #LFW. It’s a hard life.
Here are our must-visits:
I mean, JUST LOOK AT IT. Why wouldn’t you wanna eat your Full English surrounded by plants and flowers?
Gone are the days of heading to a standard bar for a white wine spritzer. Theatrical cocktails can be found at every turn and there’s loads of themed bars to discover – you just gotta know where to find them. To help you on your merry way, we’ve called on our friends at DesignMyNight to handpick the weirdest bars across the UK. From drinking dens in converted toilets to wacky school-themed hangouts, this list is guaranteed to make your jaw drop.
As far as weird bars go, one that resembles a school is pretty up there. The Schoolhouse in Battersea is the perfect place to drink if you’re after a trip down memory lane. It’s got just the right amount of quirk, with worn wooden tables, a used whiteboard, bookshelf wallpaper and plenty of science labels to go around. Their all-day grub is served on school dinner trays, and the menu is aptly themed with meals like The Headmaster’s Big Breakfast and The Teacher’s Conference Sharing Board stealing all the limelight. Drink-wise; they stock over 60 craft beers, but take our advice and go for the disobedient-sounding Naugh-tea Schoolgirl.
Anyone who works in an office will know they’re a dangerous place for a waistline.
It’s nearly ALWAYS someone’s birthday which means there’s ALWAYS cake or that one person offering a bag of doughnuts round and you tell yourself one won’t hurt.
Which means keeping your sweet tooth in check and Operation: Bikini Bod on plan isn’t easy when your work is snack central, but I think I’ve found the solution. Enter the healthy desk draw snacks that are actually super yummy, will give you that hit of sugar and keep you going all day long:
