The edible insect innovators are back! Since our 2014 pop-ups were such a success, we’ve decided that it’s time to show you, once again, just how tasty insects are.
From the 28th May and then every last Sunday of the month, Eat Grub are teaming up with chef, Seb Holmes (founder of acclaimed Thai pop up Farang), to bring you a taste of some delicious Thai-inspired insect dishes. You’ll be able to try our range of tasty insects in some exciting recipes created especially for the event!
Alongside our favourite insect dishes, you’ll have the opportunity to drink craft beer from forward thinking Bermondsey brewery Fourpure, who we’ve partnered with for the event. Alternatively, if craft beer isn’t your tipple of choice, we’ve got top mixologist Tomas Lenko of Strongman’s Tipple who will be creating some bespoke insect-based cocktails!
Bookings for the pop-up are officially open. Seating times run between 6:30PM and 9PM.
Tickets are £33, which will include a five course set menu of insect-based dishes, all infused with some of the best Thai street food flavours and you’ll get a bottle of Fourpure’s craft beer or a glass of wine to go with it, depending on what you fancy. Just to whet your appetite, here’s some examples of the kind of dish you’ll be feasting on
