Jimmy's BBQ Club returns from 19th May to 20th September

The upstairs BBQ Club tasting menu invites guests to baste and grill dishes alongside their chef on their very own BBQ built into the centre of the table. Jimmy and his team of chefs will guide you through a refined and interactive six course tasting menu, including dishes such as ‘The Queenie Scallop’ with coal baked cauliflower, hazelnut crumb and pickled red onion petals or Lamb Cutlet with salsa verde, charred tender stem broccoli and Sicilian anchovies. And what better way to finish the evening than melting marshmallows for smores over your tabletop embers! 

You will also be welcome to help yourselves to summertime tipples from a rooftop ‘honesty bar’, serving refreshing gin concoctions, 10 pint beer kegs for the table, ‘good wine’ and ‘great wine’.

Charred Pineapple marinaded in Chilli and Lime, coconut pannacotta, toasted coconut, rum syrup,

With notice, we are able to accommodate most dietary requirements as well as offer an alternative 6 course Vegetarian tasting menu - please provide this information when asked to specify dietary requirements in the checkout process.

Terms

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.

Very good concept and the food excellent. I would suggested that the drinks are cooled in advance because the beer had just been put in the fridge and the white wine was tepid otherwise everything fantastic deborah visited The BBQ Club on 20 Jun 2017

Got there first and the wine was warm which was disappointing but the evening improved after that. Friendly service great setting and fun evening the sunny weather helped! A bit of a walk to the restrooms but I suppose nicer than a portable loo. Orla visited The BBQ Club on 14 Jun 2017

We organised it as a surprised birthday dinner for a friend. Brilliant night! Fantastic spot on the river for a summer night. The staff were really friendly and helpful and every course was delicious. A couple of dietary requirements were well catered for and cooking on the BBQs was fun and easy. The concept is good, the food great but you need a non-gale evening to truly enjoy it properly. We went on a night with high winds and torrential rain which impaired our enjoyment of the experience! Bob visited The BBQ Club on 05 Jun 2017

Unique, attend with an open mind, if your easy going and enjoy making new friends then give this a try. Paying to cook your own food may seem strange but it is so easy, everything takes only minutes to cook plenty of time to get to know your fellow diners good or bad make up your own mind. Food quality was exceptional,honesty bar not so sure about, £4 for a can of beer or £27 for a bottle of wine costing £7.50p in a supermarket is steep. Maybe a change of policy, as in bring your own drinks and a corkage charge would be better, just my opinion, we still enjoyed the experience and would recommend giving it a try. I visited on Monday, beautiful weather, a gorgeous sunset and a lovely meal. I would recommend turning up hungry as 6 courses left me absolutely stuffed by the end. It was a delicious set of foods, so much fun to cook them on the big green eggs too. I see from other reviews people are complaining about the price. It's £45 for 6 delicious courses of food literally on the Thames. Alcohol was a reasonable price - £4 for a beer / glass of wine, and all in all a really lovely evening.

Really disappointed. The food tasted nice enough but for more than £100 for an evening out I expected a lot more than being wedged on a bench with strangers, cooking my own food. Apart from one flatbread we had no carbs for the whole evening so were not filled up. It doesn't seem designed for BBQ lovers and was not up to scratch for a tasting menu. Also the Honesty Bar is not an honesty bar, its just a bar, an expensive bar, where you pay at the end rather than with the drinks. Poppy visited The BBQ Club on 19 May 2017

Enjoyable evening with some delicious food (scallops were the standout) probs better for groups of 4 or more as the BBQs are to the end not in the middle of communal tables so we didn't get much of a chance to cook our own stuff in the end. Christopher visited The BBQ Club on 19 May 2017

Despite the typical British summer weather (torrential rain), we really enjoyed Jimmy's BBQ Club. We were sat on the top deck and had views over London, the area was covered and the team helped us with the cooking along the way. Will definitely try and return when the sun shines!
