The most fun we have had in ages! Tina is amazing. So much fun and lots of energy. I wish she had been around for a bit longer. The most hilarious bingo calls. The brunch was good. Food was ok. Drinks were mimosa or Bloody Mary. We do tend to drink often so ended up buying extra bottles of prosecco to add to them but was totally worth it. Thanks so much! Such a great day. It was a well oiled machine at the candlemaker. Drinks were quickly made, food was good and served promptly and Tina Turner was brilliant! Such a good act and so much fun to play along with. There was singing and dancing from the audience. Alysha visited The Candlemaker on 17 Jun 2017

...(cont) We got tickets with a discount so £17pp which was a good price. £25 is too steep. We didn't have any option to pimp our drinks though? Lucy visited The Candlemaker on 20 May 2017

Main food was delicious (although it was just the toast that was bottomless!). We were a big party of 16 but they only had room for 14 of us which was annoying so had to squish together. We had booked as a big group and they were aware so I don't know what happened there. Tina Turner Tea Lady wasn't on but the replacement was great! Although she should've been introduced earlier as we were a bit confused! She was really funny :) Really fun way to start the morning of a hen party! Mimosas were okay and nice to have cups or coffee and tea available. Lucy visited The Candlemaker on 20 May 2017

Steamy Bingo was excellent - very funny- we were a bit miffed that Tina Turner Tea Lady didn't host with no explanation why. However, her stand in - Keith the last unicorn - was hilarious and really made it a great morning. You certainly don't go to this for the brunch tbh. Of the bottomless bit - the water for tea/coffee was luke warm, there weren't enough toasters and they ran out of butter, there's no alternative bread if you're gluten intolerant (my mate was pretty hungry waiting for food as a result), the booze IS plentiful (mimosas or bloody Mary's) which is good. The brunch itself was ok. I had chicken and a waffle which was tasty. Some of my friends had the sausages and hash which was quite small. So food-wise poor show. I'd go to a night that did the bingo again minus the brunch! Annette visited The Candlemaker on 29 Apr 2017

The food was average, but the drink is free flowing. In fairness that's not why we're here. This is all about Tina Turner Tea lady, whose energy warmth and humor can't help but win you over. Your guaranteed to leave with a huge grin plastered on your face. Matthew visited The Candlemaker on 20 Aug 2016

Five friends and I attended the steamy bingo on 21.01.17 and once Tina was on we hardly ever stopped laughing! That lady is funny even when she's not saying anything (you'll see when you're there!) The only downside for us was that it took quite a long time for our food order to be taken and we were rather hungry. It was great that bread and the use of a toaster was provided as a snack however when we got to the table there were only two slices of bread left and no clean knives or plates. Anyway once the food came it was good and being able to help yourself to drinks placed on the bar was a bonus! Overall I would highly recommend this event as Tina runs things brilliantly and it's a nice change to have a comedy brunch! hbutler visited The Candlemaker on 21 Jan 2017

Tina Turner is the one that makes this whole brunch special. She made everyone laugh and was just awesome. I must also comment on the fantastic staff at The Candlemaker - tables never empty of booze (trust me, I was going for it), and in general they were also great laugh on the day.. food was good too. Where do I start...Declaring my love for Tina Turner the Tea Lady I think! What a GREAT day and a fantastic concept. Tina makes the day and she is Simply the BEST! The brunch & Drinks were good, we didn't have any issues and were never empty. It was my birthday and the staff had gone out of their way to make it special with banners, balloons and glass of fizz as soon as we got there. Defo recommend.

The food and drink are good but the absolute highlight is Tina Turner Tealady. She's worth the ticket price alone and had us all in hysterics. Brilliant day. Bethan visited The Candlemaker on 19 Nov 2016

This is the second time I've been to the booze brunch, and it was just as much fun (possibly even more!) than the last. Tina turner tea lady was hilarious, and our table had so much fun. The food was great and the bottomless drinks fantastic! I would highly recommend this!

Me and two friends went for a birthday brunch here and had the best day!! The staff had provided birthday balloons and a banner and really made us feel special. The food was tasty and we were never without a drink. The best part of the brunch by far was Tina and the bingo! It was such a funny day and Tina got everyone laughing, up on their feet and fighting over the hilarious bingo prizes. I would definitely recommend this venue for birthdays, hen party or just a random but fun day out. Zoe visited The Candlemaker on 19 Nov 2016

Really fun day although as some other people have mentioned the drinks were a total rip off. Brunch items are about £6 (nice but average food) leaving the remaining £20 for the drinks and bingo. I would of preferred to buy a bottle of prosecco than drink the super watered down OJ and cava on offer. The bingo was a laugh & Tina was on form. Sadly we left sober and hungry at 2pm. Plenty more top notch brunches in London, I would only return if they gave prosecco instead. Also they have a running club who meet after their run in the pub, making it stink! I wouldn't advise lunch at this time! xkerryx visited The Candlemaker on 22 Oct 2016

Slightly disappointing, very unorganised. Waiting for 20 mins before we got any drinks. The description implys prosecco is included in bottomless drinks-it was not. mimosas were weak. All very average

Went for a hen party and we weren't sure what to expect. Tina absolutely made it! She was hilariously witty and we didn't stop laughing the whole time. There was plenty mimosa to go around too. Fab morning/afternoon! Megan visited The Candlemaker on 20 Aug 2016

The food was freshly prepared and good quality. I had the chicken and waffles and I would have like some spice or seaming to the batter. But we weren't really there for the food. We were there for Tina Turner Tea Lady; a character so ridiculously and infectiously amusing that you can't help but have a fantastic time: Especially with mimosas on tap! Tina was an excellent bingo hostess and the drinks were flowing (we were very drunk by 12), however, there was a lot of waiting around for bingo and the food didn't quite hit the mark. Naomi visited The Candlemaker on 06 Aug 2016

Tina Turner was great fun- a real giggle. we all had a really enjoyable afternoon and the brunch was great. Though I feel some improvements could have been made. The actual bingo games felt very rushed, with far too much waiting before hand. Good fun but don't know if I would rush back next week. laurarose visited The Candlemaker on 18 Jun 2016

Our hen party had a fabulous time at this. Tina Turner tea lady is an absolute hoot! Food and bottomless bloody Marys were good. Only comment would be that the food was quite slow to come out and in some cases arrived an hour after ordered. Also they could top up the toast and tea machine more regularly. But all in all we had a really great time. Fiona visited The Candlemaker on 25 Jun 2016

Steamy Bingo exceeded our expectations! The food was yummo, the drinks were flowing by the jug (no scrimping for these guys) and Tina the Tea Lady MADE it. She was such a hoot - really funny and wasn't afraid to get crazy. Highly recommend if you want value for money and a ripper of a brunch. We were dancing on the tables by the end of it.
