Barrio Shoreditch is a neighbourhood bar serving up cocktails, cantina and a club atmosphere with a global view. Inspired by Latino flavours and cultures, come here for a feel-good party night and prepare to be taken around the world with delicious and fresh cocktails as well as a drinks list that is sourced from every corner of the globe. The music is always cutting edge and eclectic, with an anything-goes policy and a fun-time house party type vibe attracting all kinds of revellers. Barrio Shoreditch is a London bar for everyone. The bar is split into two separate areas, one specialising in secluded cocktails and privacy and the other in revelry and fun - the best of both worlds.

The food is all Latin-inspired; the top pick from the menu is the Chicharrones & Platano Frito (Havana style crispy pork belly with fried plantains and black bean dip). The drinks are equally tasty with the pick from the cocktails being the 'Cape Fizz' (£8) - consisting of Chilean pisco ABA, muddled red grapes, Xante pear liqueur, apple juice, lemon, dash of soda, garnished with apple fana and a bunch of grapes. All these stunning Latin combinations are a massive with the regulars and we hope that you go down to Barrio Shoreditch to see what all the fuss is about. Private Area Hire

There are two private areas with your own bar staff and area within the main bar space that can be booked for your party. Uptown Bar (up to 100 people) and Timber Yard (up to 60 people). Both can be booked on a minimum spend basis, however you will be unable to play your own music as the main bar music is played in these areas.

The club is fantastic in terms of drinks and music. However the staff are a huge let down. Not attentive at all even when you have booked a table, the drinks and food came about an hour late. Loved it, we had such a great time. Few things to improve would be that the spot was not free when we arrived, we had to move people. Those people were not happy because they had to move their bags...one of them even cursed me because he was so upset!!! After having a troublesome night out, we have written a complaint and have received an apology and were invited to another night out, which this time was perfect. We had a great time, all the food was incredible, and our cocktail was put on fire in front of our eyes, what an amazing spectacle! We had the best churros in our lives!! I booked a table for 20 May for 19 people for a special occasion, I booked a table for 1pm for lunch, I booked this 1 week in advance and had spoken to a girl on the phone. When arriving to the venue at 1pm, it seemed a surprise to the staff that we were there, the area designated was not set up for 19 people. I was advised that the kitchen did not open until 2pm, which I had not previously been made aware of. I had been organised and had everyone's orders ready and handwd these over to the staff. I was first told that they only had 1 pork left, 3 people had ordered this, so 2 had to change their order. 10 minutes later I was told that the half chicken would take too long to cook and pretty much told we wouldn't order this. The majority of the group had ordered this, so all had to change. From an already limited menu this significantly decreased the choices to pretty much nachos or a burger, not enough choice. I spent the first 1/2 hour doing the waiters job getting orders together. There was no apology made at that stage and not regular service from waiter/ waitress asking if we wanted drinks. We received food at 14:45, an hour and 45 minutes after arriving, however there large time gaps between people receiving their meals, which had to be chased up several times, only on one occasion to be ushered away The last meal came out at 15:10, so 25 minutes after the rest of us had received our food, so they were eating alone The nachos with pulled beef was cold. Altogether it was incredibly poor service, which was not helped by the attitude of the staff in particular the waitress. We did complain at the time and did not pay a tip and did not pay for drinks, however I am still left disappointed by the whole experience for what was a special occasion. I will not be recommending your venue and I felt it was important to leave feedback so that others do not experience the poor service we received. visited Barrio Shoreditch on 20 May 2017

Gorgeous design, awesome food, amazing cocktails. BUT awful organisation! :( I have booked a table for a birthday party and we arrived and had a great time until we were told that they have mixed up the booking and someone else has booked in for the same time as us. We got moved somewhere to an uncomfortable place just because the others were a bigger group, even though we got there first. Very annoying and spoiled my birthday party... later when I ordered some food and it didn't arrive for ages I went to ask if they remember our booking and it turned out that the food arrived at the other group! Genuinely... Love this place. Atmosphere is so buzzing with the music and vibe. The bar area gets a little busy, you don't mind waiting as the drinks are made as theatrical as they are tasty! A must in the area. 5*

I had a wonderful time! The staff and security were amazing! Some guys knocked our table over and all our drinks which wasn't pleasant but the security team dealt with it brilliantly and I was happy! HAPPY HOUR IS A LIE So over priced. £15 for a bottle of house red, and the watered down margarita came in a tiny tumbler without salt. very upsetting. Jager was also stupidly expensive. Also disgusted at expensive tiny portion of chips. Thanks a lot Barrio. Booked for 6 or us and they gave us worlds smallest booth - not good. moved to a weird table away from the bar... even though we were there for drinks. Celebrated my 40th Birthday and booked the caravan area for 20 people. Good food, great cocktails and great music. We all had a great night and all our guests enjoyed it. I will not be returning to this place. My friends and I were in the queue waiting to get in and some of my friends were refused entry and accused of acting inappropriately. It was excellent, the food is great, the staff very friendly and helpful, I got a cake and gave it to the staff to put in the fridge, the moment they cleared the table after the dinner they brought the cake with candles (which i did't bring) and I didn't even have to ask.. We had a great time and all of the cocktails we tried were very nice! The place had a great atmosphere, however, the area we were sitting at (close to the window) had the music a bit too low. Hi Ferdie, Although the ‘caravan’ was a great location for drinks and very near the dance floor it was not the most practical place for food. There was not enough space for 21 people to sit down and eat. We asked for extra chairs, which we got, but in the end some people had to stand and eat, as the dance floor had to be cleared. The food was a constant issue all night. We didn’t realise the food was going to be served in dribs and drabs and each tray only had enough for 17 people which meant some people couldn’t eat some of it, although we all paid for it. I queried this and they said they would correct it but they only did it with one of the trays. The rest of the trays carried on only having enough for 17 people. A lady in my group who had a special requirement and we were told she would be served more of the only two things she could eat did not get more and had to leave so she could go somewhere and eat. I did ask for her extra bits but everything was so disorganised that we didn’t get it. The food started to be served than there was a pause of about an hour until the last bit was served. Every time I asked the staff what the delay was about I was told we had to wait for them to finish other orders in spite of us having been there since 8pm, and having booked in advance too. It seemed that the kitchen was struggling with the demand and we were left hungry. Even when we asked for serviettes we were given 5 for a group of 21 people. We asked for more twice and did not get them. In the end I got so fed up that I decided to just leave it the way it was. Some people left early as they needed to go an eat, which kind of spoiled the night a little bit for the rest of the group. I’m not sure what happen there but I was very surprise with the whole experience regarding the food and disappointed that our Christmas night out did not go as planned. We would like to get some sort of refund as Shoreditch is very far for a lot of our members, they made the effort to go there as I said they would have a nice experience and some Brazilian tunes and that was just not the case. I am never coming back to this place. My friends and I were in the queue waiting to get in and the bouncer quite simply accused some of my friends of inappropriate behaviour completely out of the blue. Booked an area for my bday. The area set aside was pretty poor, the tables weren't even together. As soon as the dancefloor opened up we were swiftly & abruptly told to move all our coats/bags. We were asked to use a cloakroom by which point there was an enormous queue. I then ordered £70 worth of food for my friends. It never arrived. On enquiring it had been delivered to another table! Always a fun venue, staff were pleasant, food was tasty and drinks were on happy hour until 8pm. However, since last coming here the happy hour deal changed from 2 cocktails for £8 (buy one get one free of the same cocktail) to each cocktail for £5.50. You get more choice instead of being forced to buy two at a time, but at a steeper price. Taco mixed sharing platter has also changed such that you can only choose two types of tacos instead of getting 4-5 different types. Can be a bit loud, but is a lively and colorful venue. Last Saturday was the second time I've used Barrio Shoreditch for my birthday celebrations and I was delighted to be back there! Fantastic atmosphere and music, having booked the caravan for the first part of the evening they even managed to give me a little more time in it before the next booking took over. Great Place for a Friday, end of the week, drink with friends as well as somewhere to party later in the evening. Spoke to someone before the day, as I know it gets busy in the evenings, and they were very helpful in organising adding my group to their guestlist. Had a great evening! Only thing I'd mention is to keep an eye on your drinks, my friend went to the restroom and left an un-drunk drink on the table next our group and when he came back found that the bar staff had cleaned it up with the other empties without checking. On arrival, our table only accommodated 4 people instead of 8 people, After waiting around, the staff offered more chairs. After this slight mishap, the rest of the night was brilliant, fantastic vibe, very tasty cocktails and nibbles, friendly staff and great music. Our waitress was really friendly, honest with recommendations and very accommodating when some of our party arrived late. Cocktails on happy hour were very great tasting and good value, but the nachos were poor. I have always enjoyed the LSS Song Competition night previously, whether as an audience member or as a performer - having attended Quintal do Samba's Monday Roda at this venue I anticipate a great night on 15 March

Rip off. Charged us £5 for a ticket to an "event" and when we got there they were letting everyone in for free on the door...and it was just actually just a normal night! Drinks were overpriced - £8 for vodka soda! Avoid.

Had a fantastic time with 5 other friends on Friday 29 Jan. I managed to book a last minute table the same day. It was for 8:45 pm but still great. Once inside Barrio East almost everything was great: fantastic decor all around, great music and atmosphere, felt like in a club back home in Latin America. Friendly staff. The drinks, cocktails and wine, were top notch. The food is informal and to share and it tasted fabulous. A small glitch was that our waitress didn't advise us the kitchen closed at 10pm and as we lost track of time we couldn't order food after that time. We know for next time. All in all a great night out for all of us. Will be back very soon

Celebrated my birthday at Barrio East on Saturday and it was amazing! Staff sorted us out with guest list entry before, the bar was full on the night, great music and ambience! Joanna visited Barrio Shoreditch on 16 Jan 2016

Booked for my team Christmas party with 18 attendees - was unfortunately placed in an area different to what we had thought was reserved, but the floor staff made it all gold and this hiccup was soon a distant memory. These guys are amazing and worked their socks off to make sure our night was the best that it could be. Food and cocktails..? Outstanding! Head Honcho is a killer :D Barrio East highly recommended and will definitely be looking at having another event here - can't wait for the opportunity to go back

Absolutely amazing interior, i went on a week night when they had a salsa dance night on which seemed good fun (i didn't join in). Good choice of drinks and prices fair, there cocktail list seemed great. People were eating, and it looked nice. I definitely need to go back to try the cocktails and food Great toilets, reminded me of the Caribbean :)

A really good go to come about 11pm on Saturday i'd say. The music is great but the dancefloor is a bit on the boiling side. That said, their happy hour deals are super affordable and the beer garden is lovely considering Shoreditch doesn't have too many of those

Really fun, relaxed atmosphere, amazing cocktails and all made in front of your eyes with the added danger of fire! The bar staff are always having a great time. It's a good all-rounder for food, drinks and party times :) My faves out of all the Barrios <3

I went with 4 friends on a Saturday afternoon, service good, cocktails ok, food not so great. We wanted a platter to share so they brought out a platter but with 3 of everything, not great when there's 4 of you, when I mentioned it to the waitress, she just said yes you share it!!! Not really when there's 4 people. Anyway, other than that, good atmosphere, good environment. Mediocre really

I went to Barrio East for my birthday last weekend. I enjoyed the music, food and the vibe. However, my night was ruined by people on the dance floor who kept throwing inflatable objects around. My guests and I were hit with inflatable sharks, balls and trees on several occasions and this became very annoying! I think the inflatable objects should either be fastened to the wall or removed from the dance floor.

Hi, last saturday I went to Barrio East and it was my worest experience ever I tried to enter and *comment moderated* didnot allow me to come in for no reason. I had my ID I said ill pay the entrance fee and anything but she said no ill not let u in and without a reason and left me she was so rude and so horrible and anyone know away that I can sue them contact me please. Thanks

Good food and cocktails. Packed on weekend nights and great spot for some dancing. The door policy can get tough pretty quick, it's one out one in. Annoyingly I was told i was cheeky and lucky for managing to make a table reservation for 3 people on a wednesday at 6pm without giving my credit card details and was asked to leave it behind the bar as we sat to eat. Put me off going back for dinner. But would pop by for cocktails if I needed to.

The atmosphere inside was fun, with cool rooms to hang out in and free cloakroom which is a bonus. However our night here came to an early end when the door staff refused to let some of my friends in at 8:30pm because we didn't have a booking ...even though there was loads of room inside, and as they stood outside about 10 people left. They were even holding tables for people that were over 45 minutes late for their booking. So book a table if you can and even when they say they hold some tables for walk ins....and with a seemingly non existent one-out one-in policy, I wouldn't risk it.

We always have a great night out in Barrio East - cocktail, atmosphere, music and food. I booked for 15 people and the staff allowed us to set up bar tabs for each of us, so payment was not an issue. They were very helpful and accommodating. Booking was easy as pie too! Thanks for a great night!

Great bar, very accommodating. We had a large group of 20 join and the friendly staff checked on us throughout the night to see if we wanted more food/drinks etc. Great atmosphere and fun décor - definitely recommend.

Had my birthday party at Barrio East last Friday. We all had a fantastic time. All staff were friendly and welcoming, fantastic service both at the bar and on the floor, not forgetting very friendly door and security staff. Great music , delicious drinks. Definitely coming back!!

Came here for my sisters birthday and had a fantastic night. Great music to dance to: old school tunes and retro classics. Drinks were really tasty as well, lots of flare from the bar staff and stayed here for several hours without needing to move on!

First of all my company and I would like to thank all the staff at Barrio East, we had our christmas party there last Friday and it was an excellent night. We all had alot of fun and the staff were there with our every need, the music was fantastic we all danced our socks off. This was a Christmas do to remember Thanks to Barrio East. We look forward to coming there again.

What an awesome night! The team were really accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we had a good night. (Special thanks to Jordan who found us a table when we realised we'd accidentally booked at the wrong Barrio!) There was glitter, a dance off and far too many shots. A Christmas party to remember!

Incredibly rude and unhelpful door staff and manager. I called and arranged an area for a large group of people months in advance. Prior to booking i checked to see if a small number of the group who were under 21 could also come. This was agreed on the phone but nowhere in writing and therefore was not honoured when I arrived. I therefore had to take my group of 35 along shoreditch high street to find another venue. Luckily as we had to arrive at Barrio by 9 we were able to get into the great bar 'The Shoreditch' next door who had lovely door staff. Do not trust this bar, ensure any agreements are in writing and prepar yourself for a night of smirky arrogant staff.

Booked a table for my 30th birthday celebrations. Good venue, fab cocktails, table service was a little slow. Music was a let down unfortunately, very touch and go as normally the music is fab so we ended up moving on a lot sooner than planned for a boogie elsewhere :(

We had a great night at barrio. I had my company summer party and they reserved the tinder room for us. The staff and the manager on duty (Callum)were super friendly and really helpful when it came to service and sorting the space out. Very good music and a bit different from the usual - tune after tune! Great crowd and brilliant vibe!

I booked a booth at Barrio East to celebrate my 30th birthday party, having enjoyed a couple of Friday nights here previously. The staff were really accomodating, the cockatils were lush as usual, the music was a real mix - from 50's rock 'n' roll tunes to R 'n' B, which suited everyone. The only let down was the food which I was told ariived cold but other than that a fab night!

Very nice venue, with friendly and helpful staff! Drinks are very reasonably priced, and they played a variety of music that appealed to everyone's tastes! Would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Came on a Saturday night with friends visiting from up North. Sadly couldn't book a table past 8.30pm, but still went down. Staff are incredible! Just found the music mashed up a bit too often...there didn't seem to be any flow to it, so found it difficult to party.

We had a great night at barrio. Booked for a group of 24 and ended up being a little under. The staff were super friend and really helpful when it came to service and sorting the space out. Great crowd, good music and brilliant vibe: fun and funky - you feel like you've escaped London for and evening. And what's more the cocktails were delicious.

A great night, the staff really looked after us. We hired a table for 25 for our work Christmas party and couldn't ask for a better venue. Great food, great drinks, great music and all bundled together in a perfectly unique package.

I booked a table at Barrio East for a group of us on my birthday- absolutely great night! All of my friends loved the cocktails, food plus the atmosphere was great. Barrio even threw in a free bottle of bubbles for the occasion- definitely recommend!

I took some clients and friends to Barrio East for NYE and everybody said they had a blast... which is rare for a NYE. Fun venue, top music and great times. I will be back soon.

I love all three of the Barrio bars, but this has to be my favourite! So much so, I had the pleasure of celebrating my 30th birthday here last weekend. I had booked out two booths and were looked after by absolutely brilliant staff all night. The drinks kept on flowing and not one person had an empty glass in their hand. The music was really good, loving the old skool tunes and the venue looks fabulous. Mostly importantly though, everyone who came told me that they had a brilliant night. A fantastic bar, with a really cool vibe and relaxed crowd. I just love it and will definitely be back! Keep up the good work team Barrio! x
