Description

Situated on the site of a former 100-year-old water closet, WC Wine & Charcuterie Bar brings something totally different to Clapham Common. After a two year rennovation from two local chaps, visit the site below the tube station today and you'll encounter an intimate space complete with an outdoor courtyard. 

Pull up a chair and get ready to sample some top quality wine - there's 12 red and 12 white varieties - as well as plenty of cocktails and spirits to work through. If you're looking to eat, you can work your way through a delectable choice of charcuterie and cheese boards that are expertly matched to the wine card. You can unwind in one of their intimate booths (suitable for 5/6 punters) or soak in some live music at one of their regular band nights.

Perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of Clapham's streets above, this is a relaxing haven exuding a real neighbourhood feel.

Possesses a truly unique atmosphere, that only gets better when there is live music on, which should be more often. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The food is edgy and the drinks are better still. More importantly it is all actual reasonably priced considering the area. The cocktails could have more volume though. Very swiftly becoming a favourite haunt!

Really looking forward to this place opening. There are never enough wine bars in Clapham - especially ones with an outside area! Can definitely say i'll be here a couple of times in the summer :)
