We had a great time - the staff were so attentive and friendly, the cake we ordered was delicious, the venue was beautiful and the drinks were amazing! Bar staff especially Demi's. the waiter were lovely. Could not be more helpful and friendly. We had a lovely night before and after the theatre and the food was delicious. The bar looked lovely but I had reserved a table for two - instead I was offered a sofa to be shared with a party of six - not ideal for a date. I was then offered a small table inside - the music was very loud (at 6.30pm) and as a result the packed bar was full of groups of people shouting at each other. Why have the music so loud people can't hear themselves speak? We went to the much quieter hotel lounge - which was empty. Avoid if you want to chat. We had a fantastic evening for my birthday drinks. Our waiter was funny, knew his cocktails, and was even kind enough to bring over a round of complementary drinks when he overheard it was my birthday. Drinks were great, bar looks great and the atmosphere was great. The service to start with was disappointing we waited quite a long time from our order to first drinks arriving and some were missing. Want to walk into a winter wonderland? Then head here. Great service and helpful on what cocktails to choose. Highly recommend! Loved it!!! We where there for a Pre Theatre drink and the place was super busy. I've sat by the bar and the atmosphere was great just watching the bartenders doing cocktails. Also the drinks are very nice with a very friendliness and educated team,

The interior in here is gorgeous and the cocktails were divine with so many to choose from. This is the perfect venue when you're looking for something a little swish. The whole hotel was beautiful. Just don't forget you can drink on the terrace upstairs and in the twinkle lit basement too.

Fantastic and classy cocktail bar. Friendly and attentive service. Although the setting is very classically glamourous, it is not stuffy and we did not feel out of place there as a group of people in our early 20s. Expensive but worth it, most definitely visiting again.

My boyfriend and I loved the variety of unusual cocktails designed around the Bloomsbury theme. We sat in the grotto bit outside the bar which had gorgeous fairy lights and plants draped over the walls. It was warm and cosy - a great hidden gem! I made a reservation for my birthday party. I was enchanted by the venue at first sight and so were my guests. The bar menu and drinks are worth to try (see the Evening Standard 2016 review for price indication). Great service was delivered by the staff: reservation, bar & kitchen teams included. The Club is a hidden gem so I would advise any interested person to guide their guests to the Dalloway Terrace (the restaurant) as the Bloomsbury Club is found on the lower floor. Fantastic venue with a lovely atmosphere. There was live jazz which suited the venue so well although I understand is only for special events - casting my vote to keep it all the time. My only tiny criticism would be that vegan options on the bar menu are non-existent although the complimentary nuts were delicious. My partner and I had such a wonderful evening here. The grotto is romantic and cosy, the drinks and bars snacks were great and just what we were looking for (mini quails scotch eggs were a big hit) and our server was fantastic. He was attentive enough that we were never waiting for anything but not obtrusive. Although the bar was full we felt like we were in our own little world. Will definitely be back and would strongly consider staying in the hotel next time as well..less of a stumble to bed if you've had one too many. We went to the Bloomsbury Club Bar to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. We didn't know the place before. Now we are so happy to have found it, the bar is a true gem. More importantly, service is first class. The waiter who helped us was incredibly helpful and suggested a couple of drinks to my boyfriend offering also to smell some bottles in order to figure out his taste. Prices are absolutely fair considering : quality of cocktails served, service, and location. We'll be back on Sunday with the whole family and try more fantastic cocktails. Thank you!! I'm not sure how it was because they cancelled very last minute due to "a last minute private hire". Absolutely gutted as I had worked hard to get that booking and it was meant to be a special evening. Hoping to try again soon Charlotte visited The Bloomsbury Club Bar on 06 Dec 2016

Despite arriving almost an hour early than our booked time, and fully expecting to have to come back later, the waitress was quick to accommodate us and provided great service throughout the night with table service. The venue was beautifully decorated and got us all into the festive spirit, it was a great place to have a team drink in an ambient setting. Beautiful place. Great staff. Drinks took a wee bit long. Got a dessert late at night, so overall a very good experience. Brian gets a special mention as he was so helpful.
