Brought to you by Ross Mackenzie and cocktail whizz-kid, Lyndon Higginson, the good folks behind the likes of some of the coolest Manchester bars, Black Dog Ballroom, Dog Bowl, and The Liars Club, Cane and Grain is a high-end establishment with an unadulterated air of industrial cool; with refined cocktails and a slightly more food focused concept than the other bars in the group. Taking the place of the former Thomas Restaurant and Bar in the Northern Quarter, 'The First Floor' is an all-seated swanky cocktail bar, whilst the ground-floor, 'The Rib Joint', is all about lunchtime eats and crowds in for after post-work drinks with their hearty South American and Texan inspired fare (we're talking Bacon Popcorn and Dino Beef Ribs).
