Hear this all ye VAIN, WRATHFUL, AVARICIOUS, LUSTFUL, ENVIOUS, SLOTHFUL and GLUTTONOUS. A Curious Invitation requires you to attend THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS HALLOWEEN BALL at the CORNET THEATRE on October 28th 2016.

Bring us your mortal sins, your venal transgressions, your moral trespasses, your humble peccadillos. Flaunt your iniquitous nature, all you impious imps and wicked wastrels, and come join your fellow denizens of Limbo to dance, cavort and carouse over our seven spaces with over 100 performers.

Pamper your self-love in VANITY’s Photo Booth, indulge your gourmandise in GLUTTONY’S Naked Feast. RAGE on the Dance Floor or succumb to SLOTH in our chill out room. Feel the AVARICE in our star-studded Cabaret stage.

Dress to evoke naked ENVY and perhaps a little lascivious LUST.

The Seven Deadly Sins Halloween Ball will feature 7 stages and a cast of 150 performers.

ENVY - In the Dark Wood

Stray into the dark woods that encircle our dance floor, where the spirits of stepmothers, stepsisters, wicked queens and evil fairies of folklore lurk, exuding that subtlest and yet most corrosive of mortal sins, the jaundiced eye of ENVY.

Ever since Cain killed Abel, Joseph was betrayed by his brothers and Snow White poisoned by the Wicked Queen envy has gnawed at the human heart. You too will be possessed by the green-eyed monster as you gaze upon the parade of beauty and sheer talent that will grace our stage.

BARBARELLA’S BANG BANG will captivate you with a cacophony of carnivalistic, tzigane-tinged blend of punk, disco and European folk. Take a reckless ride from the eyes of a puppet in a world of lost lovers to Bohemian dance halls shadowed by broken suns.

The horns and drums of the TEMPLE FUNK COLLECTIVE will spirit you away to the shores of the mystic Lake Pontchartrain and entice you with a bewitching Juju brew - the hoodoo rhythms of Creole jazz, tempered with a dash of gypsy, jungle and hip hop.

Dragged up from the dark and dingy depths of London’s top Rock and Heavy Metal clubs, DJ ROCKIT RIYAD will assail the dance floor with his merciless mix of rock, hip hop, electro, dubstep and drum’n’bass.

At the CIRCUS OF DESIRE.

The Mistress of Ceremonial Cabaret MISSA BLUE, adorned with blazing headdress and twirling parasol of flame will purge your sinfulness wth her purifying pyromaniacal powers.

CONSTANZA RUFF, the queen of aerial contortion, will straddle the silk with fearless climbs, wraps and drops, exciting your envy with her supple sensuality.

High above your head, ROSIE CHEEKS, legendary lady of the Lyra, will swing, somersault and shimmy on the cerceau as she twists and skews her body into unfeasible positions.
