Radio Rooftop Bar, situated on the 10th floor of the ME hotel on The Strand, and boasts a terrace cocktail bar that sits at the top of London's newest boutique hotels.

With spectacular views overlooking such iconic buildings as Tower Bridge, The Shard London Bridge, St. Paul's Cathedral as well as the Southbank and Covent Garden's theatre district; this rooftop bar is certainly an elegant and stylish place to enjoy a cocktail and a Mediterranean inspired bite to eat. With a cocktail menu catered by the ONE group, expect some English twists on well-known and well-liked cocktails.

Their most notable cocktail creations for the Radio Rooftop Bar include the themed ‘Mile High Margharita’ (Cuervo Gold, Grand Marnier, Cointreau, Chambord and Cranberry and Lemonade) and the fresh and fruity ‘Electric Light Company’ (Bombay Sapphire, Mint and Lime Mix); in addition there will be a carefully curated range of beers, wines and soft drinks. On the last Thursday of the month Radio Rooftop Bar hosts Frequency, London's premium cocktail party. Each "Frequency" event showcases cocktails, finger foods and great live DJ music from local, national and international music talent. A definite place to take a date, it's sure to impress and will leave and lasting impression, getting people back again and again.

Radio Rooftop Bar offers a Mediterranean inspired finger food and light bite menu that combines sophisticated bar food with a crafted selection that also compliments their range of cocktails. Try their prawn summer rolls at £7, or tuck in to an ME burger with bacon, cheese and fries at £13.

very bad customer service. Not worth it. Rude and horrible. They will ruin your night! Better go somewhere else.

Emailed on the morning travelling into london for a birthday. Phoned back and reserved a table outside. Had a great afternoon drinking cocktails. The staff were great. Definitely recommend this location.

The lady at the door has 1 square meter of power and will not open the ropes to you unless you look the part. You will be greeted by a softly spoken lady who will tell you it's going to be a long wait. We called her bluff and waited in the queue while chatting. The long queue of people behind us could not pass us so in the end she made more excuses and let everyone in past us. She told us her name was Melanie but actually her name is Natalie! We managed to get in through some trickery and was not surprised to see the place was half empty! You should have seen her face when we excited! priceless!!! Once you get passed the pretentious door staff, all the staff in the bar cannot be more pleasant!!!

If you don't look like a glammed up chav or hooker the tall arrogant and rude lady at the door is not going to let you in!! Long wait means no entry because you don't look the part. It's ruining London's reputation of a fun diverse city!

For those of us who have no problem getting into the actual bar, the view is awesome especially in the summer, the music is good with cool entertainment. Highly recommend. For those of you who are worried about not getting in, try Sunday afternoon.

hey ya'll just wanted to get some insight on the situation regarding the individuals who been denied entry. from what I have gathered the door staff judge from appearance on who can gain access. my question is where ya'll rocking the latest in made to measure clothes looking like movie stars??? or was ya'll dressed smart and modestly??? ps: I have rated on the basis of how much I want to visit the joint

I always wonder when reading negative reviews where the hurt egos end and real facts start. With regards to the Radio Rooftop Bar I sadly have to agree with only 50% of the comments simply because after 2 & ½ hour queue (FACT) we were denied the view of this ‘sleek, glammed-up, ‘Sex and the City’ destination’. I have now learnt that ‘bar at full capacity’ is a better word to turn the ‘unwanted’ away – how else would you explain the door staff still letting friends and ‘fabulous people’ jumping a queue of mostly tired and yet still smiling ‘commoners’? After 1 and ½ hour wait, my friend and I were next in line to become fashionable immortals and finally join the gods sipping cocktails in this brand new Olympus of Aldwich. One more hour went by and not a sign, nor a word, or even eye contact from the tall lady at the door holding the clipboard and sharing jokes with her colleagues. She also decided that it was absolutely acceptable to turn her back to us for most of the time and leave us to wonder whether she would ever unlock the cord between us and the most pretentious entrance to a bar I have ever come across in my life. The rest of the experience you can gather from other people that have actually managed to cross that line……alas I was not one of the lucky immortals to be chosen to grace this current bastion of coolness. It is now my mission to make sure that my –dreadful- experience of the Radio Rooftop Bar ‘entrance’ is shared with everyone I know. Places like this kill the spirit of London, a city where the very diversity of its people creates the exceptional experience that is London…Do the ‘only-fabulous ghettos’ have a place in this? Perhaps they do but I don’t think I will be wasting any more of my time to experience what they think they have to offer!

This place is disgraceful. The door girl lies through her teeth based on "her" opinion of how you look. Don't even give them the satisfaction of turning you away, head to Vista, Golden Bee, Madisons, Coq D'Argent, Coppa etc instead.

Rude, unhelpful door staff, this place is for international playboys and no one else. Great if you go for a corporate event otherwise save your money and go somewhere that treats its customers with respect (being left to stand in the rain outside a roped off canopy whilst they checked our reservation is not my idea of customer service).

Absolutely outrageous, rood and disgusting staff! I came to ask to have a look at the terrace as I wanted to book it for a big party. The man at the door told me its full capacity, I tried to be nice and explain that I just need few minutes to see the space again so I would be sure I could accommodate all my guests. I got very rood response from the host and there is nothing that could be done. I absolutely do not understand how is even possible that the HOST, the first person you see when you come to the venue could be that rood! I will absolutely will never go there again, despite the great views as there is nothing good about this place, the cocktails are dated and bland, made with cheap juices from concentrate, arrogant bartenders and waitresses and very strange Croydon of people who hang out in this place. Absolutely horrible experience, went to sushisamba after, had much better experience. I will do everything so people know how the staff treats guests there!

I wanted to try an make a booking for a party of 6 but was told they don't take bookings. They said it was first come fist serve basis. Then I rang back a week later to inquire what would be the best time to arrive to avoid queues and they said that they were fully booked on the day we wanted to visit. I asked how can you be fully booked if you don't take bookings?? the person on the phone was extremely unhelpful and so frustrating to talk to. They just told we could possibly stand at the bar. If this is sign of the level of service then it sounds crap.

First of all it was very difficult to get through to radio bar, but when I did this is what happened.... Tried to make a reservation for Radio Bar for my engagement party for Friday May 10th and was told that they don't take reservations on Friday as it is too busy. Decided to move the party to a Thursday night so I called again and was now told outright they don't do any reservations only walk ins. Frustrated as I was, fine, if that was their policy then I had to have my party elsewhere. But what really infuriated me is that I called back today Weds 5th of June to check that I could walk in and I was told that they are FULLY BOOKED!! So what is it? do you take bookings or not? It is a different answer depending on who you talk to or which day it is .. Spoke to a senior manager of the reservations team, but he could not offer any sort better customer experience whatsoever ... basically admitting they they have been trial-ing different policies. Forget it, these people have no idea what they are doing.

INCREDIBLE evening, the views were amazing, and it has been done up all cosy, but still elegant. I am definitely going back - it's expensive but totally worth it for the experience. Go there to celebrate something special.
