Welcome to a pubbing experience like no other. The Aeronaut pays tribute to the amazing discovery of flight with their airborne feats of cabaret and circus performers. 

The interior satisfies the traditional Pub get-up with chunky woods and a grand bar. But, one thing Aeronaut boasts (bar the twirling and catapulting acrobats) is an onsite brewing company ran by Laines meaning you can get a real crafty pint straight from barrel to bar. You can practically smell the hops.

By day, Aeronaut comes complete with a sun trap beer garden framed by funky side booths (refuge for when the rain inevitably comes). Reviving the circus style aesthetic of the past, there's coconut shy, hook-a-duck and strong man booths clad with the traditional striped colours and quirky circus font. Perfect for alfresco dining with a pint of ale and a plate of good hearty grub. By night, Aeronaut becomes something else entirely. The pub becomes an arena. Spot lights beam down, the stage comes out and the performers parade around (hula-hoops in tow) and the mighty disco ball descends. Their crew of aerial acrobats and glamorous gymnasts perform balancing acts, spinning sensations and circus show classics.

A wonderful New Year's Eve party atmosphere with some great circus acts. Thoroughly recommended. Such a shame about the fire when we had to flee. The staff were amazing to get everyone out safely. Please please rebuild this great pub and venue. visited Aeronaut on 31 Dec 2016

It was engaging the whole way through funny and the performers were really talented as well. So reasonably priced for a circus ticket and the dinner and drinks were reasonably priced as well and I have no complaints on the quality of the products either. It was a great night! thanks ! Wonderful experience, great atmosphere. I celebrated my 50th birthday at the Aeronaut. They re-arrange two tables to fit all my 32 guests, near to the bar. The show was hilarious, more a cabaret show than a circus though, but very entertaining. The Tina Turner impersonator did a brilliant job as a. M.C. for the night. The D.J. after the show played our favourite tunes from the 80's. Great and friendly atmosphere with everyone dancing and having a good time. Denne the manager gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne and had been really helpful throughout the process of booking and during the night to me and all my guests. Tina tuner dinner lady was very good and held the evening together well. Food ok but seemed rather warmed up and didn't have a feel of being freshly cooked and we were told to get there for 7pm as they like to get the dinner over before the acts come out, . in fact the interval was long enough to have food then if you wish. Drinks were good, my beer was great, very tasty and brewed on the premises. The acts were good but some seem to lake some finishing or sparkle. The circus, venue and acts were amazing. Defiantly would recommend. However I have to say that the food was pretty terrible and overpriced (for cheap pub food in London) - but saying that, you don't go to the circus for the fine dining. Great fun, thought the acts were a good mix, good dance floor afterwards only criticism was the food was pretty average, if you are only going to offer a burger as a main, it wouldn't take much to make it a high quality piece of meat. but would still come back maybe not eat. visited Aeronaut on 25 Nov 2016

Went on Friday night. Very entertaining show, great staff, interesting venue and good garden. Meal was nice but was expensive for food and drinks though, and booking system via designmynight long winded and awkward, and a cheeky unnecessary booking fee. I booked a table in the bar to eat for 6.30pm and they stated that if I'm late by more than 15mins I'll lose my table. So got there at 6.15 on the day and they didn't have a table booked. They told me I can eat at 7pm in the circus part as I had also a ticket for the circus. They didn't make an attempt to admit there mistake. Very nice and friendly staff, but food... I ordered a halloumi burger - dry cold bun with a piece of rocket covering halloumi and falafel filling. No chips or salad with it, had to collect it myself and paid £10 for it - very disappointing experience. visited Aeronaut on 29 Oct 2016

We were there for the Halloween Circus. We had such an amazing night. The staff were warm and friendly and entertaining. The entertainment was spectacular aside from Tina Turner Tea Lady. She was rude to the audience and swore about them when they wouldn't pipe down... it was such a downer. And, to be honest... who remember Tina Turner anyways? Really fantastic night - atmosphere buzzing. The show was great but we were given a table behind a pillar so couldn't watch from our table and had to stand behind the stage and did not get a full view. We all had a great night, loved the entrainment and old school music, was an epic night.. thank you aeronaut for the lovely evening, bar stuff were great and the lady who organised where you are seated was fantastic... but unfortunately the waiting stuff need to smile a bit and not get so shirty there was 30 if us we all ordered food at different times and people move around so they weren't on the table where they gave number when ordering there food, we were all in one long section so it it was fine.. I understand it's annoying but there was no need to get pissed off people moving you can't chan them to a seat.. we like to mingle..we eventually made the women waitress smile and laugh when we took charge .. other than that we had a brilliant night.. would definitely recommend to others and go again myself.. Felt a bit disorganised when we arrived. We had booked a table but none of the staff seemed to know where this table was! Quite a rude front of house woman seemed annoyed that I had given my surname and not my first name on arrival, huffed a bit at us! Food was excellent, super friendly and efficient staff. Circus show no-where near as good as last two times unfortunately. Whole night was spoilt by extremely loud and inebriated table behind us who kept kicking chairs, spilling drinks on us and dropping glasses on the floor. Shouted to one another at the top of their lungs through out the whole show which detracted massively from the experience. Management were lacking in sorting this out. An absolutely fantastic night. I'm 7 months pregnant and was taken great care of from the moment I arrived. I had a great view of the circus and felt very safe. Most of the performers were superb but I did feel like the main act didn't have the same talent as the previous performers and felt a little confused as to why they were at the circus. The venue itself leaves a lot to be desired. The smell at the entrance is horrible and the interior looks extremely run down, especially in the toilets when all the wall paper is hanging off and the floor is soaked with urine. If it wasn't for the circus acts and the entertainment, this one have been 1 star rating. Brilliants acts on the night! Great service and the food was exactly what we wanted. We were a group of 15 girls, didnt have to worry about splitting bills as we were able to order individually from the bar and everything was delivered similar times! great experince. Had a great night out to celebrate my birthday. Food was nice and reasonably priced as was the wine. Great acts, a good variety. Compare was a tad risque and some jokes went down like a lead balloon. Amazing place to chill and relaxwith your mates. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and chilled night out. The prices weren't too bad and the staff were nice aswell.

A pub where there is something for everybody! The range of events they throw in the events is great, so there should always be something going on that will make you happy. The beer garden is a great way to spend a few hours in the sun as well!

Great night out. Food at the Aeronaut has not been great when I've been before but the barbeque was brilliant - would go back to eat again. I love the look of the Aeronaut from the quirky indoor circus tent to the fun and colourful booths outdoors. The staff were friendly enough and the food we had was the usual pub fare, nothing amazing but good enough. Myself and two friends came for the quiz night and we were left with a sour taste in our mouths. From the get go it was apparent the quiz master did not want to be there (he mentioned several times he wanted to hurry the quiz along as he wished to start his weekend). He was also quite disorganised and would benefit from having a staff member as a helper. The biggest disappointment was that people all around us were using their phones to look up the answers (with no need for subtlety as no one was enforcing the no phone rules). It ruins the fun competitive nature of a pub quiz when you know you have no chance of beating Team Google. This quiz night has a lot of potential as the venue is a winner, however it needs a look at to make it more enjoyable. Maybe a quiz master with a bit more of a jovial personality who is willing to wander around the room interacting with the punters keeping an eye out for those mobile phone cheats with there greedy little eyes set on the 50pound prize. **** stars for the venue, but *** for the overall experience Nissa visited Aeronaut on 27 Jul 2016

I was looking for somewhere to hold my 60th party with my diverse group of social dancing friends, work colleagues and extended family. The Aeronaut was recommended to me and I checked it out - beers, food, circus and dancing. Loved all of these and went ahead and booked for 70 guests and they all loved it on the night mixing amongst themselves and the diverse and friendly public. The Aeronaut is hands down the best pub in London! We are locals and love every night of the week there from comedy to circus shows to quizzes to dancing to table tennis - always great stuff going on. The food is on point, and the quirky deco and massive beer garden make it a great place to hang. The staff are total legends. Last month, we even had our wedding reception in the outside area and people loved it! If you're looking for a place to host an event - The Aeronaut absolutely smashed it out the park with help planning, set up, catering food and drinks, working with the band and lights... We really couldn't find fault! Everyone had the best time and the staff were so flipping nice too. A million gold stars. Throw your events here... Come visit here... Move to Acton to be nearer here. It's the bees knees and the cats pyjamas all in one.

Amazing food, amazing service in a lovely setting. Roast chicken was to die for and hands down the best roast I have had. Hubby really enjoyed his Father's Day lunch with a great choice of beers and Ales. The kids were kept entertained by the table tennis. Great evening out. It's all there which is extremely convenient, amazing outdoor drinking garden, table tennis, dinner, lovely circus show, good prices, dancing after. We went to see a Friday circus show and we were blown away by the acts! We got front row seats with a bottle of wine and really enjoyed it. We'd been to the Aeronaut before just for drinks and thought it was a great place. It's a great find and somewhere you would expect to be in central London. We have already booked to go again! Nice venue, and good idea for a night out. Althought it would be much better if circus acts were around the pub rather than sit and watch the show then go drinking and probably stand in pub as all sits will be taken by the end of the show in another room.

What a fantastic evening! Like a live version of Britain's Got Talent...but good! Staff extremely helpful, food really tasty, served quickly and we stayed on to dance the night away. Only criticism was the show didn't go on long enough (1hr 15mins, including 20 min interval)!

I would definitely recommend the show, it is a good laugh and great value for money. The food there was good and I liked the fact that also turns into a bit of a disco so you can keep the party going. I don't give it 5 starts because I felt the patrons around were s bit dodgy... Such a good night out! We actually live in East london so it was a bit of a hike to get out the Acton but it was well worth the journey .The staff were really friendly, the vegetarian platter was huge, and the entertainment was hilarious . I went for the Friday evening show at the Aeronaut and the acts ranged from the great to te amazing. They have friendly bar staff, I was seated quickly, food was good and you really couldn't have a much better night in London and will definitely be back to catch some of the brilliant ever changing acts.

Arrived at 2 for my large booking of 15 people for a Bottomless Brunch on a Saturday, seated quickly in a great location close to the bar. The 2 barmen were fantastic, their service was amazing! Couldn't fault them! We specifically asked on arrival if we could swap between the Bloody Mary's and Mimosas as to which the barmen said yes, which was fantastic news. When going up for perhaps my 3rd refill I was served by a lady who I could only image awas the boss who said I want allowed to swap from one to another which I then told her was not what our whole table had been told before! She honoured it that time around but I feel this needs to be clearly stated on arrival as it got people's hopes up! The food was very small portions which we ended up ordering extra bits so paying £15 was mainly for the drinks. We were told they had run out of the pancakes which ALOT of my group wanted, resorting to a second choice and when that second choice arrived it was stone cold and barely edible! I booked the circus night for myself and my family who were visiting from Scotland. & all I can say is what a fantastic night! The entertainment was superb, the atmosphere and vibe was infectious and it had the right mix of people and music. We all left laughing and smiling and will 100% be back! A nice local spot for myself and brings a lot of character to the area. Charming garden and usually a good selection of local beer on tap, great deals on food too!

Great night, went for my birthday and with 12 friends, had a fab night, venue great, service great, circus great (if not a little short on acts) food great, outside area great! Just wish it was in Clapham we'd be there every week! Thanks guys!

I held a Charity Party at the Aeronaut and it was absolutely amazing. The staff could not be more helpful, drinks and food were very reasonably priced and the place was just perfect for what I needed. It was a wonderful night, and everyone said they loved the place. Late review but I went on NYE to the circus and it was AMAZING! Absolutely fantastic entertainment and great crowd to ring in the New Year!! Have booked to go back in a couple of weeks to re-live the happy experience :)

Drinks, food and entertainment all under one roof = happy birthday to me (6th Feb). Rang up a little late in the week and the show was fully booked but management let me know there was a possible cancelation and I managed to get tickets, overall staff were super helpful (security staff could try to crack a smile though!) Bit of a tight squeeze where my friend and I were seated (eating was a total navigation!) but that was my only real gripe. The show didn't blow me away if I'm honest but was still very entertaining after a few drinks and it was nice to do something a little different. The pub garden was ace 👍 Just wish it wasn't so far from home as we would have loved to have stuck around for some dancing after the show 💃

Found myself at Aeronaut AGAIN last weekend. The circus is so affordable in terms of London events and never lets us down! Props to the girl that handed my phone back in the bathroom after my overzealous dancer of a boyfriend skidded it across the dancefloor. Really great atmosphere

Very amazing price is expensive but well worth it ur enjoy ur self here it definitely a venue that surprised me I didn't think I was expecting such a fantastic night I would recommend this place for birthday and party hen night and stags it a seriously entertaining the word I'm looking for is amazing brilliant you don't try it ur definitely going to miss it .A+++

Amazing Pub, organised my kids last 3 parties there for a sunday, super friendly staff, very helpful, always checking on you, if all is good. Love the kids movie projector idea for sundays. A good range of beers made in-house. The menu choice was much more reduced on Fridays than Wednesdays. Not pleased that no hot drinks available. Very enjoyable circus evening on Friday. Quiz on Wednesday worth playing. harmonica visited Aeronaut on 13 Nov 2015

Really enjoyed my visit here for a friends birthday, it's a little overcrowded but apart from that its a really cool place. The outdoors space is lovely. Lots of little booths with heaters etc. worth a visit :)

Slightly expensive for a zone 3 bar but the outdoor space was magnificent staff really friendly a real local gem!Wish it stayed open a bit later on Fridays-Saturdays,as it is quite a challenge to go anywhere affordable and decent from there at 11.45 pm on a Friday night without taking a cab or rushing to the tube.

I took my girlfriend to the circus show on Fri 02nd Oct and we had a fantastic time!! The pub has a great lay out, the pub staff were friendly (well most of them), security were nice... What a night. I've been a few times to the Aeronaut but Saturday night was the best so far. I was celebrating my birthday and was with family and friends who all equally had an amazing night. The acts were outstanding, Tina Turner Tea Lady is a legend and the atmosphere was incredible. Thanks again for an amazing night! Will definitely be back again.

This is a brilliant night out. The entertainment is fantastic and the djs are really good. There's a great atmosphere here and the service is efficient. The only area that could be improved is the food. Overall a venue well worth another visit.

I celebrated my 30th birthday party this weekend and had a fantastic night I pre booked buckets of beer and wine for the boxing ring outside booth which was big eniught for my party guests and I to enjoy! When that area closed the music and dance floor was fun the only downside was the bar, not enough bar staff on a Friday night to handle everyone trying to buy drinks some of my friends spent nearly an hour just queuing and when they got to the front someone who just walked to the bar got served first this happened a few times to different members of my party who were getting fed up! Overall it was a really enjoyable and fun night minus the bar waiting time situation

I celebrated my 30th birthday last Friday and I only have good words to describe that evening. The place is unique, with it circus like atmosphere, large beer garden with ping pong tables and its room for dancing. We booked the Kraken Den table, which is perfect for big parties with friends, and from there, all of the guests found ways to enjoy the night: Some of them relaxed drinking and chatting on the deck chairs in the garden, others played ping pong, others enjoyed the food and drinks (brewed there) and most of us loving the music the dj played that night. Everyone has been very freindly (staff and other people) and helpful, making me feel welcomed and helping us with the logistics of the partie (cakes, drinks, etc.). There even was a BBQ that smelled amazing! I definitely recommend this place for a casual night or for big celebrations!

An amazing place, we had our Wedding evening party there and it was so brillant. The drinks are nicely priced and the music is so amazing, a little gem that you should enjoy again and again...!

A group of 20 of us attending on the 27th June. The pre planning was excellent, the guys and gal were so helpful and accommodating. Bar staff were great fun and the show absolutely awesome! Unfortunately a few negatives would be the retro music playlist with little variety and no recent tunes. Also although ordering food seemed great, they took all our first names and table numbers so to give you the right order, but this did not happen. The waitresses were mixing food orders and giving us other tables food, it is complicated due to their only being 4 options but still. It would have been fine, forgiveable and funny if it weren't for the rude waitress who shouted at us for their mistakes saying we were "stealing" other peoples food....when you have ordered a burger and you are served a burger at your table, I don't see that as stealing but never mind! Have a super fun time anyway :)

We booked The Aeronaut for a Hen Party of 22. It was the most fantastic evening and all of our very mixed party loved the venue. Food was good quality modern pub style and was easy to order and arrived quickly - waiting staff were lovely. The bar staff were great and made some fantastic Mocktails for people in our party which went down a treat. The show was a hit with everyone and really helped the evening go with a swing, and really wonderful to have dancing afterwards, although some of the party would have liked just a little less re-mixing some of the classics!! Today everyone was saying that above all it was a FUN venue - highly recommended..

Excellent show, came here for the circus performance and had dinner and drinks. Food was great value and very filling! Our guest of honour was made to participate in the show which made it even more memorable experience. Would definitely come here again and recommend to others.

My friends and I had such a brilliant night! Some of my friends had never heard of the place before and actually thanked me for inviting them (it was my birthday) and introducing them to the whole experience. We went to watch the Friday night circus show, it was more spectacular than I expected. The decor of the bar, circus and garden was better than I thought it could be. Very well done, a big improvement from what it was before. The show was filled with laughs, amazement, awe and all the emotions in-between. Fantastic night out, I would definitely recommend anyone to go out and experience it for themselves.

Everything about this night was AWESOME. There is a friendly feeling club, every act was entertaining, the food was good value, the beer and wine flowed and the disco was superb. There was a real mix of ages but it was fun and good natured. Will go back soon!

What a blinding night! From entering the pub I had a great feeling. I went to see the Circus show with a few friends and was met at the door by a good looking lass who was wonderfully helpful. She and her fellow host, manager Dene, we're more than accommodating and very helpful showing us where everything was. Friends and I all ate, I myself having the Rump Steak, and we were all blown away! The food was of great quality and came without too much delay. Show was amazing, I couldn't recommend it more, with a contortionist who did things I didn't think possible & a cracking comedy duo! I recommend to all you & yours and make sure to try the ale, what a delight!

Looking for something unusual & really entertaining ...this is it! I loved the high hoop drag act, the contortionist had me wincing & the comedy rock act had me laughing & singing. It's well worth working out the mystery of the booking process.

Great show, great venue. The only issue was the seating. We were packed in like sardines and had to share a table with strangers (which is fine, apart from the fact that it was so tight, it was up close and personal, so not very nice, The show was great and entertaining. Music after was a bit "old" but "very old" ....improved a little but would have been nice to have more variety and some up to date music too. Oh and there is no table service, contrary to some reviews ! Would be nice if there was as you can't get up to even go to the loo it's that full ....so table service would have been appreciated!

Amazing venue for Sat lunch- 18 of us- food was incredible, the bar staff lovely, and the venue completely rocks- all the kids loved the garden. One of London's best gems.

Fantastic food, fantastic entertainment, fantastic staff. The only reason this doesn't have 5 stars is due to the rudeness and attitude of one of your doormen at the end of the night. Was intent on creating an argument with us and was very rude - he thought he was better than us. We did share our colleagues complaint with the other doorman and a bar staff member also but we have had no follow up. Disappointing after an amazing night.

Good entertainment, great vibe and very helpful and friendly staff when it came to booking a table for my group. They were very well organised and everyone in my group had a blast. We love the Aeronaut and will be back again. Good value too. All in all, a great night out.

What an amazing night we had at The Aeronaut! Really great value for money and professional service from the hosts! They created a real VIP feeling. The late night DJ played non-cheesy floor-fillers and kept us dancing until late!

The Aeronaut. What a great night! Highly recommend this if you can get down there! Quirky, different, and great fun. Friendly staff, good food (especially the veggie sharing platter) and great entertainment and produce an atmosphere good enough to get even me up and dancing once the show had ended. A great place to take a date, mine was very impressed...

I was disappointed in the communication. I was led to believe we could only have a table if we had food and that we needed to be in the venue by 730 we arrived just before that and had to wait and queue for half an hour. We ordered straight away. Then we noticed people were ordering all the way through the circus show which meant we did not need to be there sat down for 90mins before the start. During this time we were sat at the table directly by the door which was constantly open. I was freezing for nearly 2 hours whilst the door was either proped open or kept being open. I was told they weren't able to shut it. I was not comfortable throughout the whole evening which spoilt my experience. There were tables of 2 empty up Until nearly 9pm. Why wasn't we given one of those as we were there at 730 much earlier than them. other than that food was good and so were cocktails. Shame I was not relaxed and comfortable throughout my valentines evening

Had my 30th Birthday here on Friday 13th Feb. Hired out the 'ink den' in the atmospheric beer garden. The ink den was great, had heaters and staff were nice. Burgers were quite raw for all my friends that ordered them, but around 15 of them asked for them to be cooked more! nice crowd, good mix of music. Overall ace venue! :)

What a great & amazing place. I have been twice now, to the Friday night circus show and I had completely different acts which made it fantastic. I have told all my friends about it and will definitely visit again. The food also was divine and the service great - only bug bear is that it is far from where I live - but that's not their fault!!! Great place!!!
