Having spent time with the girls who inspired the collection, we thought we\u2019d dig a little deeper into \u2018who are City Girls?\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

So let’s jump straight in.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Who are City Girls?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

They are<\/em> an American hip hop and rap duo consisting of Jatavia Johnson<\/em> and Caresha Brownlee<\/em> \u2014 or as you might know them, JT<\/em> and Yung Miami.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Where are City Girls from?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Both girls grew up in Miami, Florida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. How did City girls meet? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The City Girls are childhood friends. They have known each other since they were teenagers and actually met through mutual friends. JT knew Yung Miami\u2019s middle school best friend and Yung Miami knew JT\u2019s cousins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. How old are City Girls?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

JT is 28 years old and Yung Miama has recently turned 27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. When are City Girls birthdays?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

JT was born on December 3rd<\/sup> 1992 making her a Sagittarius and Young Miami\u2019s birthday is February 11th<\/sup> 1994, she is an Aquarius.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. What is their biggest goal? <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The girls want to leave the game as legends, nothing less.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We sat down with the girls and decided to talk fashion.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. What inspired you both to work with boohoo?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

They approached us excited to work and ready to make things happen!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. What are both of your favorite looks in your boohoo edit?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

JT<\/strong>: Tank top and sweatpants or the bright orange and yellow butterfly distressed boyfriend jeans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yung Miami<\/strong>: The ruched blue two piece and the caged mesh pink outfit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. How would you describe your personal style?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We love to dress up and down, no specific vibe.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. What are each of your must-have fashion items?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

JT<\/strong>: I love my sneakers, bags and sunglasses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yung Miami<\/strong>: I love my heels, especially boots, they\u2019re just perfect. Accessories and bags too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11. What is your favorite outfit you\u2019ve ever worn?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

JT<\/strong>: Black and white dresses by Christopher John Rogers in the billboard magazine<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yung Miami<\/strong>: Our billboard magazine cover \u2013 black and white blazers, underwear and cycling shorts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12. Who are your style icons?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

JT<\/strong>: Lim Kim & Lil Uzi<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yung Miami<\/strong>: Rihanna & Lil Kim<\/p>\n\n\n\n

13. What are your number one fashion don\u2019ts?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

JT<\/strong>: I don\u2019t like always wearing revealing clothes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yung Miami<\/strong>: I hate when someone dresses me and they over accessorize it, it can look cheesy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
