They say New York is the city that never sleeps and while I agree, I also found it\u2019s the city of AMAZING eats!<\/p>\n

The minute the flights were booked, my IG feed was soon inundated with NYC eateries that piled on the calories just looking at the photos. I thought I loved food before I went to New York but I didn\u2019t quite realise just how much until my trip to the Big Apple. <\/p>\n

Here are my top 5 must-have munches\u2026<\/p>\n

1. Levain Bakery<\/p>\n

2. Clinton Street Baking Co & Restaurant<\/h2>\n

Because who goes to NYC and doesn’t have pancakes? Buttermilk pancakes stacked with maple syrup (obvs) banana and walnuts – it\u2019s the breakfast of champions. And after you’ve eaten, be sure to check out the graffitied streets and vintage shops of East Village.<\/p>\n

3. Penelope<\/span><\/h2>\n

Another breakfast fave, this time I had waffles. ‘Punkin waffles’ to be exact with appled butter, dried cranberries, toasted cinnamon-cardamom pecans and warm baked apples ft. an emoji coffee mug.<\/p>\n

4. Black Tap<\/h2>\n

It\u2019s real, honest American food. Think beer, shakes and burgers. The shakes are famous worldwide and it\u2019s not hard to see why \u2026… #sugarcoma #worthitthough<\/p>\n

In case you haven’t already noticed, I have a huge sweet tooth so I decided to end the trip on a savory note. Shake Shack NYC is an obligatory meal. Melted cheese fries. Thick ice-cream shakes.
