After interning at boohoo HQ for the past year, these are the ultimate lessons I took away with me…<\/p>\n

1. Be Organised<\/strong><\/h3>\n


\n<\/strong>If you want to come across like the girl boss you are, organisation is key. Whether it\u2019s being on time to that yawn-inducing meeting or just having a super tidy (and Insta-worthy) desk, organisation will always leave a good impression.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

2. Be Nice<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Spread kindness like it\u2019s confetti. Whoever you meet along the way, it\u2019s nice to be nice.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

3. Ask Questions<\/strong><\/h3>\n

If you ask questions, your passion and interest will shine through. Ask questions about anything and everything and you\u2019ll (hopefully) finish your internship with a whole loada knowledge too.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

4. Write EVERYTHING Down<\/strong><\/h3>\n

And when I say everything, I mean everything. Five notepads later and you\u2019ll thank yourself for it.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

5. Mistakes Are Lessons<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Don\u2019t get too downhearted when you make a mistake. Realise that you\u2019re only human and you\u2019re there to learn and learning happens when mistakes are made.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

6. Work Hard<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Whether you\u2019re working on a project for the big boss or making a cup of tea, make sure it\u2019s a damn good cup of tea \u2013 everyone likes a good tea-maker.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

7. Everyone has to start somewhere<\/strong><\/h3>\n

If you are making cups of tea, remember that everyone has to start somewhere and even your senior colleagues probably did this at some point too.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

8. Have Initiative<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Try to answer your own questions if you\u2019re stuck. Look back at all those notes you made in those five different notepads. If all else fails, Google it.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

9. Speak Up<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Have a great idea? Voice it! You\u2019ll get a lot of respect for it.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

10. Have Fun<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Learn, network and work hard but don\u2019t forget to have fun! You\u2019ll meet some amazing people who\u2019ll make you laugh until your stomach hurts (trust me, boohoo HQ is full of them).<\/p>\n
