boohoo have teamed up with a small UK supplier to create a collection using materials made from 95% recycled polyester and 5% elastane. These materials are made from plastic that could otherwise have gone to waste.

The collection has been made with the future at the forefront. From casual essentials to exposed seam dresses and slinky bodysuits, these pieces all have one thing in common: they put the future first.

The colour palette across the collection includes neutral browns and beiges as well as colour pops of pinks, baby blues and bottle greens. Neck labels, swing tags and packaging is additionally all made from recycled products.

Our ‘Ready for the Future’ sustainability commitments:

1. Clothes made smarter

We’re committed to making our clothes in a smarter way. Cotton and polyester are the materials we use the most across the group, and by 2025, all our polyester and cotton will be recycled or more sustainable.

2. Textile waste improved

Building on the work we’ve done to divert textile waste in our own operations from landfill, we’re now extending this to our UK supply chain. We’re also committed to developing different ways for customers to recycle their garments and investigating resale platforms to keep clothes in use for longer.

3. Packaging made smarter

We’ve made progress on key types of packaging. For example, our despatch bags now contain over 80% recycled plastic. We’re working with our suppliers to ensure a consistent approach across all our garment packaging, and we’ll keep exploring more sustainable, recyclable packaging materials.

4. Communicating our progress

We’re committed to being transparent about our goals. We’ll be sharing progress towards our commitments regularly on

This is just the start for the brand, the agenda for change will be ongoing, extensive and transparent.
