\nThis week we’re catching up with Sophie<\/strong> from our HR Team based at our HQ office in Manchester. We get the 411 on what an average day looks like as a Senior Resourcing Advisor.<\/p>\n

My alarm goes off at\u2026<\/h3>\n

7am, snooze 7.15am snooze and 7.30am dash to the shower!! \ud83d\ude48<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I start my day by\u2026<\/h3>\n

Cuddles with Bella the cutest Frenchie in the North West!!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I\u2019m responsible for\u2026<\/h3>\n

Getting the newest and freshest talent for Buying, Merchandising, Wholesale & Design for boohoo & boohooMAN and now Nasty Gal.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The best thing about my job is\u2026<\/h3>\n

Meeting so many different types of people, whether it\u2019s from interviews at HO or London, travelling the UK going to careers events or to the best universities! Also the interns. Love meeting them and seeing how they get on over their year with us. It\u2019s great to see how they grow in their roles and smash it!<\/p>\n

Never. The. Same.<\/p>\n

My fave work memory is\u2026<\/h3>\n

Whoa, there are many!! But up there has to be last year\u2019s Christmas party. Fatman Scoop making a guest appearance was insane. <\/p>\n

Advice I\u2019d give to someone getting in this industry<\/h3>\n

Try and keep trying, if you want something bad enough you need to show that. Tailor your CV to the company and to the role you are applying for. <\/p>\n

An average day goes a lil\u2019 like this\u2026<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

8:30am<\/h3>\n

First stop the attic, need that breakfast to get the day started!!<\/p>\n

9am<\/h3>\n

Already in the thick of email queries and prioritising my day.<\/p>\n

11am<\/h3>\n

If I’m not out and about visiting the unis I will be at my desk going through emails and calling candidates about current vacancies. <\/p>\n

1pm<\/h3>\n

Normally lunch time \u2013 mooching around the shopping centre spending all my money.<\/p>\n

3pm<\/h3>\n

Booking in interviews with a brew and biscuits usually. Then dashing in and out of interviews. <\/p>\n

5pm<\/h3>\n

5pm \u2013 Start planning for the next day, to do list is key!  \"\"<\/p>\n
