WHAT DID YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU WERE YOUNGER?<\/strong> HOW DID YOU GET YOUR JOB?<\/strong> WHO INSPIRES YOU ON THE DAILY?<\/strong> There are some amazing, inspiring women in my life and through work I have had the opportunity to meet people in all aspects of the Photography and Fashion industry doing great work.<\/p>\n I\u2019M RESPONSIBLE FOR\u2026<\/strong> THE BEST THING ABOUT MY JOB IS\u2026<\/strong> MY FAVOURITE WORK MEMORY IS\u2026<\/strong> WHAT\u2019S THE BEST DECISION YOU\u2019VE EVER MADE?<\/strong> WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR YOUNGER SELF?<\/strong> IF YOU COULD GIVE ONE PIECE OF ADVICE ABOUT GETTING INTO THE INDUSTRY IT WOULD BE\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n There isn\u2019t a specific way to get into this industry, just be prepared to work hard (and some long hours at times). \nI wanted to be a Vet when I was growing up. At school I did some work experience at a local Veterinary surgery though and realised it wasn\u2019t for me!<\/p>\n
\nI\u2019d recently left a Studio assistant job and had been freelancing; a friend from University was already working in the Studio at boohoo when it first set up so she recommended me for some freelance work.<\/p>\n
\nThis changes every day! Friends (in all different industries) and family constantly inspire me with their positivity and challenges they may have overcome to get where they are in life. I\u2019m lucky to work with a few people who are also really close friends as well as colleagues.<\/p>\n
\nManaging the Studio team day to day. Overseeing the Ecom shoots which include Model shoot teams, Still Life and accessories and a retouch team. We shoot up to 2000 products a week so there is a lot that goes into the scheduling and Management to ensure the process flows smoothly. Woking with a great team means we manage to shoot at speed and volume whilst retaining great image quality in a vey fast paced business!<\/p>\n
\nWorking with a great team of course. Having the freedom to make changes within the Studio and workflows. I\u2019ve also been able to shoot campaigns for the company in the UK and abroad several times, travelling for work and getting to see some amazing places is definitely a perk!<\/p>\n
\nThere have been too many over the past few years, lots of great shoots and parties.\u00a0 We are a very social company!<\/p>\n
\nPrior to taking a full time job at boohoo I went travelling for a few months. The experience was invaluable and came at the right time for me. Work and career is important but not everything.<\/p>\n
\nEnjoy every experience and don\u2019t stress, even the bad experiences teach you something (even though it doesn\u2019t always seem it at the time!) and maybe try to save SOME money\u2026.ha<\/p>\n
